@Jman100ish You have to install the Homebrew Channel, than create an "apps" directory on your SD card and put your games in there.

You can download them from some sites like WiiBrew.org

o yeah by the way, you can get rid of you homebrew channel by deleting it by going to the wii settings, system memory and channels and homebrew channel will be there and you can delete it from there xD

hey um aymer13 i recently bricked my nintendo wii ... here is the story : first i updated to 4.2 then finally found a way to downgrade my wii to 3.2 then i decided i wanted to upgrade to 4.1 so i saw this file named firmware to update to 4.1U so once in installed it said returning to wii menu so it was about to go then brick black screen so can u help me on whats going on all that shows up is a black screen i need help ASAP

Thanks for the tribute and if you need to know how to install bootmii, just search on youtube. That's how I installed it on my wii.

You said you messed with the settings..IIRC you can tell Preloader to load other apps by default, so if you have it autobooting the HBC installer, holding reset while turning on the system should bypass the autoboot and get you to preloader, since preloader is apparently there still from what you said.

Just a hunch...does Preloader come up if you turn off your Wii, then HOLD RESET as you turn it on (and keep it held until something comes up)?

I don't think it is a huge brick because your wii is still working. Also when you took out the sd card did your wii have the same screen as the video or the screen just turn black only? Also their is a way to get your wii back. Just try to install bootmii. Just google bootmii. Bootmii is a software for the wii. It helps prevent and gets your wii backup from the brick stage. Just try to install it. also you can search bootmii in youtube too. Well that's all I can give you.I hope this helps you.
