It's actually easier to control the recoil of a full auto when you fire it from the hip. I know it seems like a stupid and impractical idea like some hollywood bullshit, but once you get the feel for it you kinda develop a natural point of aim. IMO, the only real problem with it is that once you get to a point when need to take an aimed shot, it's gonna take longer because you have to raise the rifle to your shoulder.
