that is not a 1 cycl engine its 4 stroke

U cannot use car tachs on lawnmowers

@Plowboy6602 yes you can, did you see mine moving? its hooked up to the lawn mower, of course it doesn't read correct but you can hook a Automobile tachometer to a lawnmower engine

Sweet! I just got a nitrous brand tach for 4-6-8 cyl. Gonna wire it up and see if it'll measure correctly. Great job, I like much!

What kinda tach are you using since it has to be set up two 1 cylinder....

@chevyluver13 I'm using an old sun pro super tach i think, i had it set on v8 and it worked fine, i'm thinking it is right with the rpms, sounds right to me

thats gay i have a racing lawnmower its sweet you should see it. if you do i can send you a link to see it. next time put some pullys on it 20$ and you can get any lawnmower doing 50K/M myne is also 2" off the ground

@TheMitch1611 whats gay? I don't have the time and money to put it together, i did get one of my mowers to go 40mph just by buying a 5$ pulley i know what I'm doing, but I just don't have time to do anything
