I'm a general rock fan, well that is, older rock, more classical bands, from CCR to REM, from Nirvana to the Foo Fighters. The only modern bands I like are the Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders.I do think modern music sucks, not because it's "not clean" as some say, but because most of them take no talent.
Regardless of what music I usually listen too, this song is just awesome.
Race played an interesting part in the history of barbershop, actually. It did start out with black people, but then the white people kinda took it over, but then the race didn't really matter, it just happened to be who sang it. It was coincidence, really. Just some white dudes got a bit more famous, which may have been indicative of the time, but no real racial connection should be made.
this is incredible! I adore this song and this is the best video I could find on youtube! - not even Limewire has only an audio version of it. Do you think you could convert this to simply audio? Thanks!
This was one of the best renditions of Coney Island Baby that I have ever heard. I am kinda new to barbershop and I just wondered if you guys are a past international champion quartet. You should post more songs soon. Keep singing those tags guys!
I think that this quartet won in 2005, but I'm not sure. They have a very similar sound, and I believe I remember seeing the bass on stage. They have great presence and a phenomenal ring. The Tenor solo is amazing in this. Keep up the good work, and good luck in Barbershop AP!

This was good but for me it sounds odd because I sing the bass part for my high school barbershop quartet and, from what I can tell, I have a more mature bass sound than this group's bass.
its alright, i feel like it was dragging a little, gotta keep that tempo up!! try to stay in key too, it changed about 3 times, i'm the lead in my barbershop quartet so i know how hard it can be to stay in tune, but i love the enthusiasm and the outfits, keep working =)

@sweetestormentx
The Foo Fighters were formed in 1994, long before the crap that rock is today.

stereotypical song from a stereotypical quartet, and then the society wonders why the membership is declining.

Yeah. Barbershop is an absolute evil IMHO.

White people love barbershop quartets.

and if you look at a little bit of music history apparently so did the blacks. Race plays no part in music.....
DaShnipa 3 years ago 31
In fact isn't barbershop considered the first music whites "stole" from blacks? XD

These guys win? I've never heard of these guys, they're not bad either. But Realtime won in 2005.
linksgolfer 4 years ago 3
doi you mean they won a district competition? Because Linksgolfer is right, Realtime won internationals in 2005.
