  • Why are you using honey, aren't you vegan?

  • ! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy lost tons of weight with it.

  • it is agood change in reciepi i will try to make it

  • I wonder how unhulled seeds would change the recipe?

  • omgsh .. this recipe is sooooo good..

    and i hate sessame seeds..

  • yum! I'm wondering if you could use raw pumpkin seeds!

  • I wonder if you can use Tahini paste?

  • Its not a cookie, how dissapointing.

  • Could you could substitute the honey for something vegan?

  • @Sharazapam 100% Pure Organic Agave from Trader Joe's. I've started using it in my coffee instead of sugar or honey. Dissolves easily, even in cold.

  • You know I bet this would make a great raw pie crust. I will have to try this. Thanks.

  • I'm almost three minutes into the video and you are still talking about WHY you are making raw cookies.. jeez.... Can you edit a little?

  • @SUZANNELKN i so agree with you..

  • @SUZANNELKN : Oh...you could switch to decaf. Wow, just wow...

  • Ewwww it would be like eating flour and water

  • Too much talking. I came looking for recipes not a speech.

  • Your wonderful presence reminded me why im raw x

  • @4:00...FASTEST...GRINDING...EVER! XD

Thanks, this sounds good. Maybe I'll try them with a little cinnamon too. =]

  • I wonder if it will work with regular sesame seeds.

  • I would add coconut oil to it!

  • Thanx Natasha!! all ur topics are so great!!

  • Perfect! Thanks!

  • You should add some spices to it -- like cinnamon or cardamom.

  • i tried to make this but i didn't get the hulled sesame because the hulled didn't specifically say raw... and i mixed in some dates because the honey wasn't mixing well~ and i made a lot more than 4 hahaha. they are cooling right now~

  • No problem Avril!! Take it one day at a time :)

  • omg this looks delicious. definitely going to make this :)

  • Awesome!!

  • ;D great!

  • This is like eating tahini and honey, only in a cold cookie! Great!

  • Its pure yum!! And yes it like Tahini & honey (I developed a weird reaction to Tahini, I started getting migraines so I had to stop eating Tahini). But then I started experimenting with gringing sesame seeds, that is fresh, and I have no headaches or problems!! Perfect!! :)

  • I LOVE your food demo vids...MORE PLEASE!!

    Hugs from the UK

  • natasha, i really want to join the fast on the first, but i know that i have a social event to attend on the 3rd. i could just order a salad, but would that completely defeat the purpose of the fast?

  • Its fine!! Thats why its 10 Days-- in case something comes up or someone gives into temptation, there is enough time to get back on the fast and have benefit!!! Its the quality, no the quantity that counts!!! Hope you join us :)

  • Yummy! Ican't wait to try these cookies. <3

  • How simple, yet delicious. Thanks

  • what would be the next best ingred to use instead of honey?

  • dates

  • Thanks Natasha I am going to try this tomorrow. I have some fresh dates waiting in the fridge ready. Vegan so I can not use Honey plus I do not like the taste of it.

Sending some love for your injured thumb. Please be careful. : )

  • Thank you for the healing energy-- much appreciated-- i lost a big chunk from my thumb, but it should grow back :)

  • Natasha, I watch lots of You Tube videos on the subject of raw food daily...BUT, you-to-me are so genuinely delightful, that you surpass the rest in many ways and I find myself here lately, watching you MORE because of it. :) Thanks for your wonderful posts and enthusiasm !

  • Awesome!! Thank You :)

  • Thanks for posting the vid

  • yummi thanks for killing me with that delishiousness:)

  • does it taste like halva?

  • kind of!!!

  • What would a raw vegan use as a substitute for the honey?

  • dates, dried apricots, etc..

  • I'm very new to raw foodism and you've been a massive help. :] Thanks so much.

  • Nice video Nat. Add some nuts and carob chips and serve with a glass of raw goat's milk when you make then for me ;) - hah, just kidding

  • yum yum :D

  • great idea. so many possible variations.

  • Those look good! Nice and simple!

  • that looks good.

Hey Natasha, do you have any suggestions on what you can eat to help with food poisoning? I've been suffering for 4 days and can't keep anything down.

  • @faylinameir I forgot to ask, what'd you do to your finger, I saw the bandage =(

  • I cut part of my thumb off--- a bad day :(

  • yikes... sorry about your thumb!

  • fast!!-- have some green juices and let it pass. Plenty of rest & water,

  • @RawRadiantHealth I tried green juices and I can't keep them down. I've also tried fruit and such but its just ugh.

  • let it take its course, make sure to be well hydrated, plenty of water, if you can get a little coconut water for electolytes-- dilute it. Plenty of rest, plenty of water.

  • @fay, I just got over that myself. My stomach was so unsettled for days that I could even drink water. I agree with what Nat said but water did not appeal to me. I was able to slice up oranges and eat the wedges and that settled my stomach.

I say trust what you crave and ride it out. For a while I didn't think I was ever going to get well - it just didn't feel right but I did :) Hang in there.

  • @thesetwofeet I wish I could eat an orange right now =( I guess I should be happy I can drink water.

  • @fay, that's why I said trust what you crave. It's going to be different for each person. I found it easier to eat the orange than drink the water. One odd thing about oranges for me. They taste totally different if I cut them into wedges rather than peeling them. I know there should be no difference but there is for me.

I am sorry you are sick and just find comfort in knowing you'll be over it soon and use this discomfort to remind you what a blessing feeling good is in itself.

  • @fay, I'm curious, what do you think made you sick?

  • even squeeze a little orange wedge into water, for some electrolytes, vitamins, glucose, etc..
