On the other hand whites seem to be leaving SA in droves, with very little if any migrating there. Other white countries (Australia, US) blacks are welcome and considered locals, with once again heavy black immigration. The US even has a black President.

And that it is the main reason for emigration to the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK.

The ANC is not well liked by foreign countries and foreign investors, and their policies are fundamentally flawed. I really hope with the 2011 elections South Africans will be willing to give the DA a chance. We emigrated because in a company meeting it was clearly stated to my husband and other white employees that they will get no promotions whatsoever, and that no new white ppl will be employed, only black BEE and AA candidates. Furthermore, the black ppl that did get appointed to the same dept as he did, did not have the knowledge or experience, so they basically didn't do anything, but received the same or higher salary.

@makheyi To answer your question though (which I previously stated as irrelevant anyway) blacks are welcomed into Europe, there is a lot of black immigration (particularly UK and France), they are given housing, jobs and welfare. On the other hand whites seem to be leaving SA in droves, with very little if any migrating there. Other white countries (Australia, US) blacks are welcome and considered locals, with once again heavy black immigration. The US even has a black President.

#4, educated labor is in high demand in developed nations like the US, Canada, and Australia and many whites emigrate to those countries for jobs. #5 some of my family is moving here to the US.

I am very sympathetic to white and coloured South Africans, being I have Afrikaner family in South Africa, but I really doubt that whites, asians, and coloreds are the most likely victims of crime. I could guarantee that most crime is black on black, as it is in the rest of the anglosphere, but I will not disagree that whites are victims of extraordinary crime. And that it is the main reason for emigration to the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK.

The report was based on an independent survey done where i was found that as a percentage Asians were the most targeted group and so on. I agree with you that in terms of overall figures, there must be a hell of a lot of crime against blacks as well.

@cookeladoo The political situation is by far the greatest problem in SA. It is negatively affecting everything. The ANC is not well liked by foreign countries and foreign investors, and their policies are fundamentally flawed. I really hope with the 2011 elections South Africans will be willing to give the DA a chance. They aren't perfect, they're a bit left-wing for my tastes, but they'll be an improvement on several levels over the ANC.

Hi there! I really like the song you used for this video, but I do agree with your assumptions/opinions. Crime is obviously the major factor, and you have to agree that it is the whites themselves who caused this situation. If they hadn't oppressed black people, and if they hadn't denied black people a proper education for years, more blacks would be educated and would now be helping build the country instead of raping and murdering. And, whites NEVER belonged to South Africa anyway...

Not all whites caused it, it was mainly driven by a nationalist government with an idiology that would never have worked, but they managed to convince the majority of whites who voted... only for so long. It was ultimately through a mojority "yes" vote on a white referendum that Apartheid eventualy saw its arse. The ANC government had the opportunity to fix it, but failed

@Thebephatshwa: Futher more note that during apartheid, most South African Blacks enjoyed much better education than the rest of Africa. Granted, it may not have been up to western standards. To make things worse (for the blacks) the ANC rallied the black youths to burn down schools (which white people paid for btw)
So it is a bit naive to say it was the fault of the whites for not providing an education, ANC clearluy had its input.
And again, ANC failed to fix this ever since.

Everything in South Africa belongs to black Africans. Our land feed you, shelter, clothe you. You kidnap the people and their natural resource. nothing belongs to whites in Africa. The buildings, the water, electricity, food, etc. All belong to Africans. Remember that, you're just an unwelcome tenant. Always remember that.

No, I did not make my money by selling anything on the international markets. Actually when I was back in SA I did not have a sales job, I had a manufacturing job. I categorically deny any involvement in International trading arrangements.
