@alexsuchapimp Yup! when i made this video, it was just running for a few days. I finally got some time to mount the pipe properly and tuned it. There was an air leak in the exhaust port that didn't allow me to idle lower. Now, a year later, this bad boy is my everyday commuter. Rain or shine, it climbs these SF hills like a champ.
I've pretty much given up on trying to fit a wired taillight. I found a great alternative by using a bicycle light. Cateye makes a taillight specifically for rear rack attachment. it screws on perfectly to the fender mount. I've had it for about 2 months now and its holding on quite well!
@redred5389 Its been about 8 months since the video was made. I've taken the time to really get to know the moped and have tuned it to almost perfection. When jetted lean, it hits about 49-51mph. I commute with it now and have jetted it a little richer for a bit more reliability. So, the top speed for everyday commuting is about 44-46mph.
Hey let me know if you're still willing to sell it. I live in SF too right near State college. I've been looking for a puch for some time now.
