No drum set is right handed. All you need to do to make it left handed is switch around the hihat, snare ride, crash, and toms. So his hihat is to his right when playing right handed and his hihat is to his left when playing left handed.

Super job! You've got that chop down on the hats. And I chuckle everytime I see you do some Ringo mannerism with your body. This one of my favorite Beatles tunes, too. Never could wrap my head around the guitar part. Then, in the mid-90's, saw Paul in concert at the Louisiana Superdome. Front row seats - but stuck behind speaker columns, so I couldn't really see what he was playing, but I was so charged from the concert, that when I got home, I picked up my electric - and out it came!

I think he is refering to the 16th notes that are played on the hi hat on: 3e+a4. That's the way they wrote it in the "Complete Scores"

Yes. In the book it is notated as: 1+2+3e+a4+. all of these notes get played on the hi hat. 3e+a4 are 16th notes so that is why you hear a stutter. It's just double time.

It has a 1/4 note accent.Swinging stick like ringo(in one 1,2,3,4 and swing out on the"+'s").Sometimes i think one does get missed,but that 1/4 note accent comes through.

Yes.Count 1 + a 2 + a 3 + a 4 + .RLRLRLRLRLRL.Accent on the first right hand then on second left hand and so on.Accent with kick and crash,snare drum notes in between.

yep,i saw an interview of ringo,you might find it on youtube,where he says he was forced in his childhood to write with his right hand whereas he is a natural left handed,he uses mainly his left hand..everytime.i have a friend,a pop rock drummer, of mine who is lefty but plays drums right handed,but from the begining he started years ago,he just sounds like ringo when he does drums fills wheres he's not trying to play like ringo.and by the way thanks for commenting my videos,glad you enjoyed.
