Hey family, This is Don Cannon the lead vocalist of Smoke City in 1981 thru 1982 I performed with the band just before they received the contract. I remember the gigs every Sunday at the Raven Lounge on 87th & Stoney Island. Performing with B-Starr and Candice was awesome, We had some tight harmony. I have this great album! This song was very good, but my favorite songs were "Dreams" (Which I still play all the time) and the uptempo "Back Seat Kind of Girl". What happened to this group? I thought that they would be SUPERSTARS! Nobody seems to remember this group. There's even another group out there (I think rock music group), using their name! Did they ever release another album? Are they still together? THIS Smoke City was truly great!
