That's some pretty serious restraint, not maiming/killing the scientist toward the end there. I usually give him a good whack in the face with a crowbar before continuing.

There's always a point in these games where I get hopelessly lost cause the next course isn't very obvious (or seems like a mistake). Thanks for this video, or I'd have never remembered you actually go THROUGH the fan in those ducts. I kept looking for a different route cause you'd think going further down would just lead to death.

I heard that for Ep3 they'd do something having to do with sign language or sumfink. They said that Ep3 would be the last Episode, so HL3 would be made after that and take place sometime further, possibly yet another 20 years after HL2

ok, heres my problem, when I walk into the control room, the door is open, when I approach it closes, locks, and stays locked, the opposite of whats shown in the video. Is this common, did I bug something? Someone help please, Im very annoyed...I get suck in this little room, and i can open the silo door, but I cant leave!

You can leave you just need to climb up the vent again. I'm stuck in the vents too.

It acts like a ladder yeah. There's a door dangling down from the vent just walk into it and press the W key to move up again obviously (you know the controls.) The vents are tricky lol.

At 3:2o when your are talking about the scientist, you could haven't past all the military, turrets, aliens,... by just at the start of we've got hostile just talk to the scientist before he start to run and take him to the door. He will unlock it.

in part 2:25 that big radiator/fan is moving faster... in your game (your half life) its slower ... I mean... in 2:29 when im trying to climb down the ladder the fan kill me in one strike its faster!! how do i make it slower?!

Looking at the video, The fan seems to be positioned more to the left, so try the right side.

Is there some secret to not getting my ass completely handed to me in this part of the game? I'm playing normal half life in norm difficulty, and the marines keep completely raping the shit out of me. Like, every time I see them they fill my ass full of lead before I can even react. Is there some sort of secret to surviving this bullshit, because it's really pissing me off.

try playing on a lower difficulty, or gernade them form afar first, then finish them off, and remember to take cover

dead bodies aren't solid, you should be able to walk through them. But if you're talking about the first grate that's at 00:38, that's the grate I was talking about, you can't get down that way.

Thanks dude! I was walking around those first set of vent for ages trying to find a way out. The first grate you see, I thought you cold jump down from that, and I couldn't. Even though there was nothing underneath me. I thought it was a glitch...THANK YOU!

u know if u wait at that vent lock door, u can see some fun stuff :D the marines start coming down from the choppers and its funny to see them drop to their deaths + if u wait a little longer you can make/see two choppers crash right into each other. ITS AWESOME.
