hmm got a question. when i apply cillping masks the 'mask' looses style (the stroke becomes none), and i have to apply again. How this guy did that, without loosing stroke? thanks
They need to look at Freehand, (now that they own it) and put attention to some of the features that FH has, i mean, the masks are horrible in Illustrator "paste inside" in FH made it all too easy and fast, no need to duplicate shapes. The new changes in masks for Illustrator are welcomed, but there's still a lot to do... FREEHANDIZE ILLUSTATOR PLEASE!!.
I still use freehand, specially when I need more than 1 page in one file, and freehand have the option "print 2 sides"! so it have some really util stuff but, as the technology advance I have to do it so, I´ll continue with with AI (but with freehand on backwards)

Corel Draw was always better than this overadvertised Illustrator. I don't remember very well but I think in one of the latest version Illustrator introduced bold text or underlining text, wow!!! ;-)
What a shame that Corels marketing sucks instead of showing off with advantages over illustrator,
and Adobe has the monopoly for certain solutions especially when it comes to compatibility of postcript files and importing features.
Easily explained. Easily demonstrated, Easily performed. Now why the fk can't everyone else explain it like this? !!!!!!!!!!!

Oh! so it's a feature, not a bug.
This thing was driving me crazy! 20 years working one way and now we have to re-learn it.
