Why do I find myself hating being an American more and more everyday?
Walk down any street and motorist breaking the laws by not yeilding. Police do the same. I have been attacted by a motorist for riding my bicycle acroding to the state laws. I have had police chief terrorize me (DPS words)... I good day is one were it rains all day, keeping stupid people inside. Then to hear my life is better than someone who was just MURDERED BY THE POLICE.

Security is paramount. As for your experience with police officers not willing to render medical aid, we are all trained first responders and should provide medical aid ASAP after securing the scene. Our training dictates such actions clearly.

Really tragic how bad police help ruin the public's perception of law enforcement. I understand the danger of a suspect may not really be incapacitated, just speculating on how the body faced up, and that if the officer was the one to apply FA, then need to later re-secure. Too bad the camera didn't' have a wider FOV.

Ian Burke shot an innocent man, carrying a 3 inch knife(below the 3.5 inch legal limit for carrying in public). He hit the victim 4 times. Ballistics show none of the bullets hit from the front. The knife was found closed at the scene of the crime. Ian got away with resigning.
