It depresses me how much Captain Jack Sparrow's character has changed from the first one to the second and third.

He went from being a slightly insane genius who was always one step ahead of everyone else, to a drunk coward. ):

His voice was so much better in CotBP and he had so many witty and intelligent phrases.

In the second two movies his attempts at being witty came across as just stupid.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the last two movies, but it just wasn't the same. ):
