  • Oh how lovely! Thank you. Blueberry flowers - how perfectly apt. :) As Art Linkletter said; 'kids say the darndest things'.

  • Art Linkletter's show has entered my thought more than once and I've said to myself I must interview my grandbaby! Little Marcela's expression of pure joy at the garden brought big smiles here. Thx for coming by to watch, Liz!

  • Hi Beeke! And thanks for stopping by to watch! Good to see you!

  • You brought me spring in the middle of our Autumn. Thankyou! :) Elizabeth Gardens; you have your very own park? lol.

    Nicely done, Liz...as usual. :)

  • Thank you, Saint :) Autumn in Oz? You mean when one dried palm branch falls from the tree and winter means it gets below 50 degrees?! Ha; and you've yet to see snow.......!

p.s. I was sure I'd sent you pics of my garden before; excuse oversite, please :D

  • So beautiful! - Dear Liz. :) 'I've always loved friends of the Way friends of the Way I've always held dear meeting a traveler with a silent spring or greeting a guest talking Zen talking of the unseen on a moonlit night searching for truth until dawn when ten thousand reasons disappear and we finally see who we are' (Cold Mountain) love :) volker
  • This poem is lovely, too, Volker! Thank you for sharing it here. I've read it more than a few times already.

Tiz so good to hear from you... my best regards to you and yours; you must be thinking of places north ... :)

  • Even with your "tardiness" you have made an excellent video.

And the Smith Memorial Garden is an amazing place to visit :)

Happy Spring my dear Liz :))

  • You're so kind; thank you, Laz :)))

I know you would love it there!

  • Beautiful!! At first I thought you added that red line in at 1:39 then realized it was the flowers! LOL We have bypassed spring here and went straight to summer, so it's HOT already! I want my spring back! Good to see you again! Happy Spring and Happy Mother's Day to you! :-)

  • Ha! That is a weird red line! Thx, Caylan. Always good to hear from you! Hope your Mother's Day was sublime :)

Mmm..I'm betting you spend part of your summer elsewhere. Or stay in the A/C as much as possible....!

I'm really looking forward to that didge, gal!

  • Lovely! Happy Spring to you too!:)

  • Anthony! Thx for stopping by! I know I've some catching up to do on YOUR life! Soon!! :D

  • The nightingale, for example.... holds up to 300 different love songs in his repertoire! isn't our natural world Awesome! :-)

  • Isn't it awesome, though. Thx, Millie. Tiz the best music, isn't it :) I really hesitated to add any other music to this, and have enjoyed just listening to it (including Marcela's glee)!

BTW, I've read that bird songs actually play a part in the process of the awakening the plants....wonder if that's proven scientific fact!

  • 300 songs. Now that is amazing. I've taped quite a bit of nightingales when in California; but unfortunately, the traffic noise, airplanes, etc. usually get into the mix!

    Glad you enjoyed, Michelle :)

  • Birdsong can be and is a natural phenomenon of intense beauty. But our enjoyment is incidental to the main purpose, which is one bird communicating with others. Birds became the world's master musicians in order to convey to potential mates, rivals and predators all the important things they have to say, from "Clear off!" to "Come on!" ;-)

  • Absolutely lovely. I love spring more than i do summer...something to do with new life i guess! i was abit suprised to see "blue bells"! i'm sure someone told me the u.s didn't have bluebells?

A vert Happy Spring/summer to you too Liz :-)

Beautiful sound of bird singing :-)

  • Michelle, bluebells are the state flower for Texas.

  • oh o.k? i thought it was Bluebonnets? same flower but different name i guess!

  • Oh Michelle I was wron, it is blue bonnets.. sorry I had a senior moment

  • Hi, just did a image search on google, they look quite different but the same colouring!

  • I was really surprised to hear they grow in that heat, D! I wonder if we're talking about the same flower...these grow from bulbs...

    Thx for stopping by!

  • what a lovely thing to wake up to, Miz Liz. Happy Spring and New Beginnings to you too!!

  • Happy I could brighten your day, Miz G! :D
