been a very long time since I've used this as there is no radio chip on the N810, my current tablet. I don't think it does though ... just like other music you might be listening to

hmm, I don't have an "Extras" menu... How do you get that?

You get that when you install Extras from Maemo. You'll need something like X Terminal anyway, so you'll have it.
