@bunce101 5-10 years? It won't take that long. I already prefer SF's pacing and fight matchups to the UFC's, and once SF builds some name for its talent outside of the superfans, it'll compete directly. SF needs a basic cable or network show supported by sponsors and advertising that can be viewed away from Showtime or PPV.

They have alot of young talent coming up that look awesome, Roger Gracie, Shane Del Rosereo, Tyron Woodley, Lyle Beerbohm, Tim Kennedy, Luke Rockhold, Roger Bowling, Daniel Cormier, Terac Saffiedine, OSP, Billy Evangelista, Ryan Couture, ect. and none of them have ever fought in the UFC. and with there Heavyweight tournement coming up and the Champions they have, Strikeforce is looking awesome.

@SuperG3ME Daley said he didn't want to fight Diaz yet and wanted 1 more fight so he'll be fighting at BAMMA 5 against some dude whom I guess is the DEEP champion named Yuya Shirai.
Strikeforce just doesn't have a deep WW roster just like how the UFC doesn't have a deep HW division

@SuperG3ME Strikeforce tried booking that fight but Diaz won't move up in weight because he feels he shouldn't move up in weight as a champ against someone who isn't te champ of their respective divisions. Diaz said he'd fight @ like 180-181 ish and Mayhem said he would go no lower than 182 because he thinks the weight cut would be too hard on him. Diaz said he might fight Mayhem but said he'd like to do it later this year

I'm not hating on your precious UFC, I enjoy the UFC, UFC 125 was great, Fight For the Troops had some epic moments like Wiman's Sakuraba chops. But I just hate people dumping on frickin Strikeforce.

@bunce101 i think strikeforce is more exciting recently but ufc in my opinion will always be better. the fighters are better, the fights are more competitive and i believe that the ufc champions will beat the strikeforce champions

@ally4free1 i wish strikeforce champions and ufc champions could fight that way we would know which league had the better champions but thats never going to happen. i think their would be alot of fighters who would be great ufc like Melendez Jacare i think they would do well. and i believe this heavyweight tournament is a great idea. but for me the ufc puts more competive fights and intrigues me more than strikeforce. but strikeforce is still sick

I already prefer SF's pacing and fight matchups to the UFC's, and once SF builds some name for its talent outside of the superfans, it'll compete directly. SF needs a basic cable or network show supported by sponsors and advertising that can be viewed away from Showtime or PPV.

@donshery I already like Strikeforce better then the UFC. They have alot of young talent coming up that look awesome, Roger Gracie, Shane Del Rosereo, Tyron Woodley, Lyle Beerbohm, Tim Kennedy, Luke Rockhold, Roger Bowling, Daniel Cormier, Terac Saffiedine, OSP, Billy Evangelista, Ryan Couture, ect. and none of them have ever fought in the UFC. and with there Heavyweight tournement coming up and the Champions they have, Strikeforce is looking awesome.

@bunce101 Hell, maybe even in less years than that. I mean, not since Pride have we had a tournament of the magnitude SF is putting on, and their cards have been getting way better. Coker just needs to get his shit straight so SF is solidified as a legit company. ie no more title shots coming off loses

@bunce101 Nah man, Strikeforce is fun to watch but it just doesnt have the resources that the UFC has. Cant fault them for that or anything, the UFC has Zuffa empire behind it. Strikeforce doesn't ;) But its good that we have other orgs to watch, not just the UFC.
