How do i texture trees? I have this weird texture for palm trees but every time i shoot the tree apart it goes back to the "please replace me" skin

I don't know if this helps but you can select the wooden texture and it will look like wood. When you shoot it it will shoot wooden fragments. Thanks for the tutorials they're awesome (props, wooden, wood furniture)
