  • @EddieNeverSleeps no shit lol

  • This Coke Commercial always kept me laughing!

Even though the Bears killed my Patriots in Super Bowl XX, I still loved these Bears too much! Someone please tell me. Where is "The Refrigerator" today?

  • @Jiltedin2007 Retired!

  • @asnaes I have to tell you, there was never a better personality in the NFL than William "The Refrigerator" Perry. Ickey Woods comes at a distant second.

  • @Jiltedin2007 Good quewstion. I remember reading a "Where are they now?" article in Sports Illustrated that after leaving the NFL, The Fridge was working as a bricklayer. According to Wikipedia, he has made some celebrity guest appearances more recently, but now he suffers some serious health problems.

  • I hope The Fridge was talking about the soda.

  • Where's Fridge's teef???

  • This commercial was filmed in our restaurant for the XX Super Bowl!

  • i love this sooo much.

  • The was filmed in a diner at 415 4th Street, Wilmette, IL At that time it was named Marie's Restaurant. The diner now has new owners and operates under the name Mrs. D's.

  • the Fridge and McMahon are some of the funniest guys you will ever see that also play football

  • DA BEARS!!!!!!!

  • BEARS +Coke=AMAZINGNESS

  • I remember clear pepsi. It was awful.

  • @JackLivesTogether Clear pepsi FTL!

  • @smirage22 LOL! THIS

  • What was the difference between coke and cocacola classic?

  • @JackLivesTogether

Cocacola classic was the original formula, coke was a new formula

  • @imcoasting I meant taste wise.

  • Oh god, is that really New Coke?

    HAH!

  • Was/is coke coke II?

  • ahh the 85 bears... there will never be another team as unique or talented as those guys, and thats coming from an eagles fan!

  • was COKE like diet coke now?

  • No. It was not diet. Once upon a time there was a drink called Coca-Cola (or Coke). Lots of people liked how it tasted. Then, the company decided in 1985 to change the taste. This is the "Coke" in this video. No one liked the new taste and everyone wanted the old taste back again, so they reintroduced the original taste as "Coca-Cola Classic". Eventually, "new" Coke became known as "Coca-Cola 2" and they finally stopped making it in the early 90's. New Coke is famous for being a failure.

  • O. thanks

  • @nylund154 This is all true, but sales of the original Coca-Cola ended up being higher than they had been before the experiment, which led some people to believe that it was planned that way all along...

  • I remember the Coke cans looking like that.

Too bad the Bears team lasted as long as the new Coke. No matter, they will always be loved in Chicago!

  • no homo but everytime i see jim mcmahon in those glasses the first word that comes to mind is badass.

  • @DGK4LIFE8293 Who Out of the 30 different QB'S after Mcmahon were any good?Maybe Harbaugh and thats it,It must suck to go for such a cocksucking organization,If you blame Lovie for Cutler somebody needs to slap yo ass,Cutler is what you call"Overratted" He didnt do shit in Denver what makes you think that he can turn the Bears around?

  • @lamons71

your just an ignorant football fan, go back to watching rugby

  • me 2 man

  • @DGK4LIFE8293 hes half blind and he needs those glasses because its very sensitive

  • Jim Mcmahon,The last great Quarterback in Chicago

  • who cares about the gay packers alot of teams are beter than them ill name a few saints colts vickings broncos bengals shall i go on

  • Favre retired on the Pack! do you not remember Favre crying at his retirement? So the Packers moved ion and made Rodgers there starter. ARE YOU REALLY THAT DUMB TO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT?

  • dude shut the fuck up he wanted come back your asshole of genreal manger does not like him and the same with your coach dipshit and u boo him when he returned to lambo all u fans are assholes worst fans in football am a bears fan and i respect the hell outta of farve

  • yea and he said am coming back he wanting to come back to the packers but your genreal manger hates him and so does your coach and how can u boo him when returned to lambo u packers fans are all assholes

  • @12NFLtitles

you just dont want to admit you let the face of the franchise go......and make another team better. Vikings were garbage until favre arrived and he almost took them to the superbowl, like he did with that pack in 07. If you were are real packer fan youd admit that and embrace it. Now go watch Rugby or something, your not intellectual enough to run with the big boys.....(plus your a packer fan...sorry)

  • @MylesLong82 the Vikings were garbage BEFORE Favre arrived? Looks like they're still a pile of garbage with has-been brett the biggest piece of trash in the dumpster. After he retires (what'll this be, the sixth time?), he'll have plenty of time to focus on his new career....women-chasing and adultery.

  • @12NFLtitles Its hard to leave something you love doing.

Sad to hear Favre leave. Sad that he has to leave something he loves to do.

    Its very hard.

(I am not a Packers fan, but I gave out a point)

  • Packers have 3 super bowls and 12 nfl titles. Bears have 1 super bowl 9 titles. Packers have the largest fanbase in the nfl and a 35 year wait list just for season tickets. Dick Buykus was good but on an awful Bears teams and never played a playoff game in his career! Ya Aaron Rodger had an off game with a 83.6 qb rating but Rodgers still is top 5 in every QB stat out there and has more yards, more td's, better completion pct. and only 6 int's compared to Cuntler with only 14 td's and 12 int's.

  • fuck the packers fuckin chesse heads u guys are assholes for how u treated a hall of famer like brett farve worst fans in football

  • they still lost to the bucs for there first win now whats great about that. Whats great is it puts a smile on my face packers are gay they got rid of brett favre and treated him like crap his fans did when he came to green bay. Then he got dumped by the NY jets and now hes finally with vikings. Some Packer fan, Brett farve played with green bay for like 14 years and gonna sit there and say some fag ridgers is better get lost.

  • @12NFLtitles

thats great for a small market team. If it wasnt for george hallas you fuck nuts up there in green bay, wouldnt even have a team. you know that thing they call revenue sharing??? Curly lambeau (however u spell his name) and the packer nation will be in debt to us forever, make sure you thank a bears fan at the next bears packer game

  • The Packers have been around since 1919 sweetheart (2 years older than the NFL itself), and Green Bay during the 1920's was a "city" with the population of a small subburb, with no financial means to have an NFL team. Prior to Lambeau field (City Field) being built in the 1950's the Packers used to play on East High School's football field in front a a few bleachers, and they still were beating up teams like New York and Chicago. In essence, Chicago helped finance a team to kick their ass.

  • @JohnQRandom Uhm, both teams were formed in 1919, not surprised a Packer fan DIDNT know that. And i dont know what your talking about as far as the Packers dominating teams back then, according to Packers.com the Pack got owned by yours truly 20-0 in 1919. THere isnt any mention of ANY football before that, so now youve just proven your a liar. By the way, your boy Curli was using college students under assumed names, and almost lost the franchise, what class! btw, you guys didnt beat us til 1925

  • @MylesLong82

Using the word "us" when talking about teams from the 20's only proves your desperation and "pinkness", not to mention you were uncertain how to spell "Lambeau". I didn't lie about anything you whiny little turd, I simply stated how long the Packers have been around, oh and they have 3 Superbowl wins out of 4 appearances compared to Chicago's 1 out of 2. PS, the new Soldier field looks like a lop-sided birthday cake.

  • @JohnQRandom

hey anyone can win three superbowls when then cheat! I guess WE will just lump u in with the Patriots. And dissecting what i say and trying to use it against me is just so packer like. I guess your just another average football fan, with nothing intelligent to say. Reply, when you get some real stats, or some REAL stories with proof behind them. Packer.com is a great place to start. You get 10 hours, lets try to impress me.

  • @MylesLong82

If you want to be "impressed", then hire a male strip tease for your birthday. 3 wins in 4 Superbowl appearances is a fact. Another 9 NFL championships would include the years:

1929, 1930, 1931, 1936, 1939, 1944, 1961, 1962, 1965. The total here equals TWELVE, and that is more than any other NFL team.

  • @JohnQRandom

lol you sure you can count. maybe you need to get male strippers off your mind and learn to count. Whats the packers stats for running a Hall Of Fame QB outta town and to a division rival? 1/1 is my guess. burn.

  • @MylesLong82

    1. He was given a choice.

    2. He made the decision.

    3. He went to New York first. (Fucked up there)

    4. Played "Favre Watch" again

    5. Signed with the Vikings.

    6. Fucked their Superbowl hopes up as he did ours 2 years prior.

    7. So glad he's gone.

    8. Burn? I don't think so.

  • @MylesLong82

Oh, an 9 championships PLUS 3 Superbowl wins equals 12, dear. ; )

  • @JohnQRandom

In time, we will surpass you guys in titles. We have the most wins between the 179 games over the last 89 years. Plus you guys traded away a HOF quarterback for a another QB you can even keep protected. Say what you want about are QB's, but we would never trade Urlacher......ever!

  • @MylesLong82

    1. The Bears will probably not surpass the Packer in titles in your lifetime (if ever).

    2. The Bears have only "nine" wins more than the Packers (can change).

    3. A HOF quarterback means nothing if he keeps his team out of the Superbowl, as he did the Packers his last ten years in GB and Minnesota last year.

    4. Rodgers threw for 4,434 yeards last year and although he was sacked alot, the OL improved the 2nd half of the season.

    5. Urlacher's position doesn't score points.

  • @JohnQRandom

"9" more wins is 4 and half years worth of beatings from us, and if does change, probably not in your lifetime with Aaron"I turn the ball over in important scenarios"Rodgers. But your just in denial about that just like you are with your FORMER HOF QB.Didnt he take you to your LAST superbowl win?? Say what you want, but hes done more with the Pack and the Vikes than Rodgers will do. im pretty sure i saw dansby take that ball from Rodgers and score a TD in the playoffs last year....

  • @JohnQRandom

What position was Dansby, you know, that guy that stripped Aaron Rodgers of the football, and took it in to score for a td?? do you know what position that guy plays. Ill tell you what, ill help you out, hes on the dolphins now, so you can look him up on nfl.com and let me know. cant wait chump.

  • Let's see the Packers have the most nfl titles with 12, most division titles, most recent team to win super bowl, STILL THE BEST QB IN DIVISION IN RODGERS! Packers also have the largest fanbase in pro sports along with the cowboys. So how do the Packers still suck? Your Bears are coming up on 4years and no playoffs...OUCH! Maybe someday Bears will get a real QB not a whinny littel bitch in Cuntler who is 20th in qb rating while Rodgers is #1. JEALOUS BEAR FANS KEEP ROOTING FOR YOUR BADNEWSBEARS

  • What are you talking about 3 years ago bears went to the super bowl against the colts. They lost because they put Grossman in when Orton got them there. Plus Rodgers sucks anyhow they lost to the bucs, Rodgers get sacked all the time and just plainly sucks. Cutler isn't much better but Rodgers isnt number 1, Orton had the highest rating before the Broncos lost against the Ravens. Yeah i know Orton is on Broncos but was on the bears too. Broncos are my favorite team. Bet they miss Favre.

  • Let's see the Bears have won 9 NFL titles, have more hall of famers than any team in football, are the oldest team in the NFL, own the series lead with the Packers, their founder founded the whole NFL (George Halas), had the best RB of all time (Walter Payton), had the most feared defensive player ever (Dick Butkus), had the greatest one year team in NFL history (85 Bears), have the greatest fan base, are the most popular team in NFL history. By the way, Rodgers is a pussy choker!

  • Barry Sanders is better than Walter Payton. The Lions just suck and didn't build a team around him. They Should have traded him away to somewhere where he could have a chance at a Superbowl. And saying the 85 Bears is the greatest one year team in NFL history is very debatable. 07 Patriots would crush them. They set so many records that year. They only lost in the Superbowl because they got cocky and didn't consider the Giants worthy opponents. They went for it on 4th down instead of a fg FTW.

  • Yay Overhyped Cuntler we see you suck just like the ones before you including this Irish bum. Bears suck and always will suck a few good seasons in there history and decades of losing, PATHETIC ASS BAD NEWS BEARS.....LOL!!!

  • You bastard!!!!! Packers suck balls!!!

  • Back in 85-86 those too were absolute superstars.

  • Mcmahon wa good but he was made out of glass. hisbiggest weapons were his receivers and sweetness, not to mention he had one of the best offensive line in the league, thats what got him in the pro bowl. Jay Cutler has the ability to carry a team, hes doing a great job and if he stays healthy he could put a big dent in bears qb history

  • On a different subject.....uniforms....I preferred the older uniforms better......The Buccaneers should go back to the creamsicle uniforms,(IDK just looked better)The patriots back to the red and white with White helmets. The Broncos Back to Orange tops and Blue helmet with the bid D on it.And most of all.....I really hate the Rams uniforms........The yellow and blue looked so much better than this new gold BS!!!! The Eagles looked better with the bright green uniforms

  • gotta keep a lotta coke in da refridgerator

  • Hey steeler fan learn how to spell and the my jags are going to beat you this year.

  • yeah, but we need to do something. delrio is gonna lose his job if he doesn't. and don't get mad, i'm from jax, and i love my jags, but we need a better offensive line. granted they're all young, but still.......

  • New Coke SUCKED!!!!!

  • I just recorded a solo acoustic version of "Bear Down Chicago Bears" - if you are a bears fan - check it out....you all know the song I am referring to, and if not - well perhaps you still might enjoy a little jazz guitar......

    Bear Down!!

  • cavities much?

  • Pitt fan did they go 16-1? I don't think so.

  • im a steeler fan and u r so wrong, we did not break those 85 records. we

  • no they didnt

  • Jim Mcmahon sucked! THe bears haven't had a good QB since Sid Lucman. Bears still don't have a decent QB and never were meant to!

  • Now that Jay Cutler is there, you will have to eat those words.

  • *looks over in the general direction of Jay Cutler*

    Go tell him that.

  • mcmahon did not suck. he got hurt, and once that packer thug threw him on the ground, he was never the same. there is a difference.

  • jim mcmahon looks like Rick Astly in "Never Gonna Give You Up" Music Video

  • he was gonna use them cans to smoke his crack

  • haha yes!

  • whats the difference?

  • Back in the day, Coke tried to remake Coca-Cola to compete with Pepsi by basically adding more sugar to coke, and it was a disaster. Thats why on all the bottles today you see "Classic," because no one liked the new one and it almost ruined the company.

  • rofl "you gotta keep a lot of coke in the refrigerator"

  • That's so fun!!

  • that a lon piss right there

  • another case. God FATBOY

  • Dont disrespect the fridge lol XD

  • is coke like todays pepsi?

    and classic is well classic?

  • i guess.. but like .. coca cola. haha.

  • As I remember it, "New Coke" tasted exactly like Pepsi. They got tired of having their butts kicked in tastes tests and basically ripped off pepsi.

  • And as I remember it, the "New Coke" nearly ruined the Cocacola company because it was so nasty, but after they brought back Classic Coke, sales shot up to record highs and Cocacola is still number 1 to this day.... as I remember it.

  • "New" Coke tasted like the original just with a lot more sugar, to be sweeter like Pepsi. At first, Coca-Cola replaced the original formula with "New" Coke, and that was all that was available to the public. After pissing off a majority of the Coke consumers in the world, they quickly hauled out Coke "Classic" to stay in business. One of the big marketing blunders of all time.

  • i love this coercail its soooooooo funny i love it

  • another case?! man, you runnin' me empty, Fridge!

  • thats why he haves diabetes and no tooths

  • Punky QB!!!

  • DA BEARS!

  • I love the 85 BEARS, but Jim McMahon is a FAGOT! He is a bitch, when asked if the 2006 BEARS were his choice to win the SB he said he didn't care. Other than that he is just a hick bitch.

  • adult onset diabetes

  • refrigerator perry

  • I kind of liked new Coke...

  • damn those cans were big

  • gotta love the fridge man, ya just gotta... oh, and mcmahon's cool too

  • The ad was filmed in 1985. At the time Coca-Cola Co. was in an image crisis, and the new Coke was simply called Coke, because today's renamed Coke was called Coke Classic.

  • hahahahaha great commercial

  • Right.

  • Screw you, pal. I'm already cursed. Bite me!

  • fucker

  • lol that was senseless but ok

  • You're a douche bag ...

  • that much cola in one siting will end up giving you type 2 diabestes. I must admit, nothing like a can of coke when your thirsty but come on.

  • tpp ;pmg

  • New Coke tasted like Pepsi, pretty much. It was a total failure. They didn't bring out Coca-Cola Classic right away either - it took a few months of people screaming about how awful New Coke was. I remember some people bought the "real" Coke before it went away and put it in storage. I'm sure there are people with unopened Coke cans from back then. When Classic came out, they had switched from using Sucrose to using High Fructose Corn Syrup, so it still wasn't "real" Coke.

  • hehe that reminds me about Coca-Cola vanil. it was a failure to

  • You remember Pepsi Clear?

  • I think that was called Crystal Pepsi

  • what was the difference from coke and coca cola classic?

  • who nos?

  • "new coke" used a tweaked recipe

  • love that.

  • BEAR DOWN!!!

  • go bears!

  • Gotta love The Fridge.

  • lol tht was great.

  • The Fridge has the teeth of an old school hockey player

  • This must be the re-introduction...

Biggest marketing failure ever...coke 2 to the left, Classic (taken away with launch of coke 2) to the right.

  • oh god that punchline at the end got me haha so stupid yet so funny

  • da bears

  • Haha gotta keep alot of Coke in the Fridge! That was pretty clever
