The 1.4TSI 125cv has a "low inertia" turbo, designed to provide more toque at lower RPMs... that's why the car goes so well from the beginning of the tachometer...
Apart from this, the maximum power is developed at 5500 rpm, so to keep the engine pushing is to enter in the descending part of the power curve... it doesn't make sense...
With this engine the correct and the best is to change at 5500rpm.

i reached this speed on a highway downhill...

Not for shifting 500 rpm less, the acceleration would be more significant. The engine is deploying its power anyway

I love Seat (and VW of course)...
I own my 2nd Ibiza (MY'99) and there aren't other cars that give me the same feelings.
I was thinking to change my Ibiza because is becoming old (2001) and 1.4 tsi Leon its veeeery nice!
