Wow, your hair is so similar in type to mine--similar length, similar curl pattern, similar color even (do you color it? It looks like that's your natural hair color--mine, too). These videos are so helpful because my hair is very different from other women in my family so you're giving me a chance to see the best way to care for my hair for the first time. I just went natural last year and was thinking about going back to relaxer but you've given me strength, lol.

I love braidouts, bantu knots and two strand twist-outs as a no-heat style option. They are very easy to do, and a good option to those like me that can do roller set...

i love your hair child! this is great for relaxed ladies also because i did the natural thing 2x so far and it is not for me at all; too much to get thru my kind of hair but i know when i get some length i can do that one braid now im doing 6 to 8 i get a similar look tho, well done ms Lady!

I like it a lot, Str8isis. I got some helpful tips from this video. Question: How do you get the edges with that Maxiglide? Do you have the large one? I have the darndest time getting the roots and edges, I thought I needed to get a 1 inch flatiron for that, (I've been pressing them (roots & edges) with a hot comb).......Thank you, I'm going to watch this again, in case I missed something.

@atinob43 I get my edges really good then I wrap my hair (see my hair wraaping vid!). After a few days, my hair is pretty str8! I get the edges with the MG by using SMALL sections. Try that and let me know if you're still having problems.
