I also use home made alcohol stoves, but I actually prefer my wood stove - it never fails :). I would like try a commercial stove, but I can't really spend the money on it.
So far I have only winter-camped in igloos :) but I am hoping to try camping in my tent this winter.
@Woodenarrows Thanks for your questions. I have water proofed my leather boots with a product called sno seal which I've used for the past 20 years and it works awesome. Feet always dry! I used two sleeping bags and for shelter I use a 10'x10' tarp.
Another nice video. You mentioned your stove. I assume it is a gas or white gas stove, (?). I've given those up for the simplicity of a never breaking, simple, home-made, alcohol stove and a small wood stove. They're cheaper to run and easier to use and the only way they break down is if you put them on something solid and crush them with your foot. They work great in ever season. Now get out of the bag and go catch a fish or two.
@slodeth5 Thanks for your comment. I use an MSR wisperlite shakerjet that uses white gas. The problem was the the hole where the fuel comes out got plugged when I scoured the line with the cable and I coulded loosen the fuel nozzel to clear the hole. I made a fire, boiled water and all was good and warm. When I got home I cleaned the fuel nozzel and now the stove works like a champ. I am however experimenting with DIY alcohol stoves which I'm really excited about because they lighter
@shoepack100 Very cool. You'll have to make a video on em. I like using a cut-down soda, (see my vids), can or a Deviled-Ham can for my alcohol soves. Get a single hole paper punch (they wear out fast) and punch two rows of sixteen holes close to the top. They don't have to be accurately place. Just eye-ball it. They make a great stove. Set your cooking pot directly on them, if it isn't too big. A cup to three cup pot is all you need, anyway. Best of luck partner.

Nice video and hike. Did your feet get wet at all, walking in all that snow? Did you stay overnight in a shelter or tent?
