Symbian Anna update messed up the shuffle function in music player and calendar doesn't stay on month view even though you set it as default. Wonder what they mess up now.

When I bought my N8 a year ago I loved but now I just hate it. Why can't they sell BlacBerrys in Finland!

look nokia. I'm happy with the friggen UI, yes it could be more 'shiny' but i don't really give a shit. Just get a more stable OS and bring out a BETTER browser.

My nokia n8 has symbian anna and crashes when running minimal tasks, and the 'new and innovative' browser that came with anna is still pathetic to what other companies offer.

Although symbian belle looks good, its too little too late for me. I've had my n8 for over a year now.

I'm off to Android come next contract renewal.

I'm not buying this! Neither Symbian or Nokia as long as the pursue that OS. And I've been a Nokia fan since my first mobile 1610 some 15 years ago. But no more!

I bought the N97 when it was hot and new, never have I regretted such expensive purchase. It is pure crap!

Now it is a toy for a two year old boy, fitting cause the phone is about that age too.

I'll long for the day when Nokia gets it self back on the track as a high quality producer.

- The status bar is taken from Maemo (Maemo is earlier to Android)

- The structure of Belle's UI is the same of the old Symbian but better organized

- These widgets do not need a genius to do them as they are now, so if you want to do widgets of different size you must copy them from Android?

The only thing copied is the notifications bar.

For the rest all the Android's UI are a jumble of colors and styles put together, all horrible.

Android would like to have a visual style so beautiful.

I found this video completely pointless. She was talking about something that will indeed make the mobile users look straight up instead of looking deep down in the screen. Then what happened? I really did not get any point :S

@incorefoysal The point is that Symbian Belle has been consciously designed – through the use of particular design patterns, coupled with a strong visual style – to make the UI more glanceable and hence reduce the amount of time spent looking down at the screen. What is there not to get?

@incorefoysal The idea is to not live inside your phone anymore and start getting back to your life, which is what Microsoft did already with WP7.

So I think Nokias problem is they cant decide if they wanna copy iphone or WP7 or android cuz they seem to be bouncing around a lot.

I believe they should finally just jump in to WP7 and stop putting so much effort into Symbian.

@vonchirole i actually heard a rumor about elop saying they will incorporate belle features(s^4) to wp7, and they've said time and time again swipe will live on(i Hope not in low end handsets such as meltemi), they did say they will put nokia assets to windows phone (Apollo ?, A symbolizing the begining of wpnokia)

Belle on my Nokia 701 looks fantastic, but there are missing few widget, that i saw on video, for example, my Nokia is lacking My Locaton, Big Analog Clock, Notes, Bookmarks, Calendar Widget and Weather widget also. Can someone explain, why? I didn`t get them even after FW update. And at the Nokia Store, there are only 3 widgets downloadable for Belle right now.
