I'm sorry you thought the event was lame...I didn't even know that they closed down early on Saturday night, as we had left before the sun went down. Edge is still to be commended for putting together an event where all bobber and chopper lovers can unite and share their love for building. Even if the locals didn't want us there (there was a nasty article/comments in the Winston/Salem newspaper), we met lots of great people and saw lots of home-builts, which was why we went. Peaceful journeys...

I have to say the Smokeout was the LAMEST I have ever seen it. That bullshit with closing down sat. nite was the last straw. I did like the drag races but it took too much away from the bikes. I won't be back. 8 year veteran.

you must have been at a different event than the rest of us, I had a great time, I met GTP,Hammer and E-Man. Everyone was mellow and cool as all get out. The only thing I did not like that much was the Roller Derby, just aint my thing but the Girls were nice I just did not let the little stuff ruin my trip.
I would go again tonight.
BTW I did 450 miles in 7 hrs to get there, I was the one on the only Guzzi that rode.
