Is it just me, or does anyone else think that, if vegan, and gotta take "fish oil pills", that it might be a hint that you are wrong about being a vegan?
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. It was clear and precise. I will be calling my doctor tomorrow to inquire about some natural supplements. However, if they are not an DO. they usually wont recommend anything all natural. I'll see! Thanks again.
Great advice. It's all about eating healthy, exercise, and dietary supplements. For more information on some of the dietary supplements you mentioned like omega 3 fish oil and red yeast rice google Real Natural Remedies for only the highest grade natural ingredient supplements formulated by a cardiologist.
Would you recomment grapeseed oil? I use it plus Spanish X EVOO. I cook with both but I also take a sip of the grapeseed oil daily. It is like silk and tasty too/ It is high in Omega 6.
i have high cholesterol , i already excersise 1 hr 5 times a week, i jog a mile and then walk 1 mile, but i guess im going to have to kiss mc donalds and del taco good bye. i must admit i havent been watching what i eat, i dont like oak meal and bananas , and i am not to big about all those vitamins and omegas ect. but then again i will do anything to lower my cholesterol , thanks for the great tips, loved your video
It's like anything else in life. Some people know drugs will kill them and keep taking them. Food is an addiction. You have to love yourself and make the choice. If you go raw fruits and veggies and get plenty of greens for 30 days and continue to exercise 30 minutes to an hour every day and your cholesterol doesn't begin to drop, I'll buy you a steak dinner. I don't believe in grains like oatmeal. You get fiber from eating the fruits and veggies.
@BluffMeYouWillNot vegetarianism/veganism are number best ways of lowering your cholesterol as HDL occurs almost exclusively in animal derived products and your body always produces enough cholesterol on its own for you to stay healthy. :)
Sterolyn has brought my triglycerides down to 145 mg/dl and my LDL down to 95 mg/dl! My doctor calls me "the freak of nature," haha. I plan to keep taking this forever. And hey, I'm enjoying my free subscription to Fitness magazine, it's part of an overall lifestyle change.

It is so refreshing to find a natural formulation to help with such a serious and common health problem. "Big pharma" sure does have a monopoly on most treatment options (and on TV ads too) it is more difficult to discover a product like this. But Sterolyn sure has turned my life around, and it kinda feels like I'm just taking a multi-vitamin, nothiing complicated.
if you are a vegetarian and need omega-3's but don't want them from an animal source. a tablespoon of flaxseed oil is also a very good source of omega-3.
When I eat oatmeal with sugar, my stomach really hurts. Why is that? And should you eat a lot of water before or after eating eat to avoid it becomes hard in your body?
I appreciate your sharing your knowledge. I will go to your website. I am open to other's opinions. I'm very much a follower of Dr. McDougall's suggestions and Dr. Esselstyn's who wrote Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease. I'm curious how you feel about especially Dr. McDougall's opinion to not use supplements and no fats.
The supplements I used have worked for me, but I stress to anyone and everyone to check with their medical professional before trying any drastic change in diet or fitness. But eating healthy and exercising are always a good thing...
i know how to lower individual cholesterol , it works everytime , in every situation regardless of the person in question .
all a person has to do to lower their cholesterol , considering it's in your bloodstream , is position yourself lower . you could lay down , crouch down , dig a hole and climb in , you just have to go as low as possible in relation to where you were when the reading was high .
where does fat go when it's burned from the body , i always wondered that . JV
Apparently you SHOULDN'T wear UV protection sunglasses, because you brain needs the good UV light strands to enter the eye, which among other things will stimulate the brain.
