Nice to see Jayne Cortez being put out there!
I also check for June Jordan, Audre Lorde & especially Gwendolyn Brooks.
I think Cortez's Surrealist imagery is inspired by the Negritude poet, Aime Cesaire - would welcome any thoughts on this.
