This man in wonderful in his role!! He acts the king better than anyone I've ever seen! His total switch from terrific dancer in Dhoom2 to this, and a good friend but materialistic stock broker in Zindegi bears no resemblance from one role to another. His changed personality in all are different! Only a real good actor can do that. Most other actors these days are just beautiful faces & nothing more. Of the 3 movies he wears regal clothes the best!!
@thescorpionking2020 I am a Pakistani brother but I know my roots .. my ancestors were also called Bloody Indians by the British pigs .. whether its a muslim or a hindu both have equally struggled for Independence :)
@thescorpionking2020 Maharana Pratap is an immensely respected King in front of me .. Plus being a Rajput although a Muslim Rajput to be honest with you I respect him a lot .. May be more than anyone in this world .. Cuz I'm his blood but I belive brother that a King like Akbar or Tipu Sultan did not steal India but they protected it from the intruders .. How can you ignore the secularism these kings carried in their hearts
the basterd make movies abt those basterd foreigners lik akbar, tipu sultan but nt abt mahrana pratap struggles aginst akbar, abt king bhoja, abt bappa rawal who protected idnia form muslim invasions shame on bollywood
i can tell what scene be next, they would have shown the scene where akbar disguises and moves around his empire and tried to buy food and grains...you can tell that scene was next because in the end akbar said "aam aadmi kitna pareshan hoga, mujhe iski teh tak poochna hoga' ...that means he will move around the city to find out people's problems
what were they saying? what was this scene all about? what was the question asked? what was the answer given? why were they laughing? - i don`t speak/read hindi -
The part with the guard may be one of the best deleted scenes ever. I am glad it appears on the DVD. I wrote down a rough description of the subtitles. The comments has a character limit but I would be happy to e-mail a text.
Alright, when the guy walked into the court, the king asked him to pick any prize he wanted and the pheasent asked to get 30 lashes on his back, and the king asked why. He explained that the gaurd outside the palace wouldn't let him enter and when he explained to the gaurd that the king had summoned he, the gaurd told him that whatever the king offers to the pheasent, the pheasent must divide half with the gaurd.
The king got very upset that he's gaurds are accepting bribes that he asked summoned the gaurd in and told the gaurd that he'd get the pheasents full prize, which is 60 lashes. Afterwards the king was so impressed with the pheasent that he announced to his court that he wanted the pheasent to work for him for he was very clever.
The court disagreed and said the pheasent was unexperienced and sought it unfair, so the king said that one question can be asked and if the answer was clever enough, the pheasent would be hired as one of the people of the court.
So the fat guy, who disagreed in the first place asked the pheasent. ' What am I thinking about as of this moment '.
' You are praying to god almighty that he keep your king healthy and well for, and wish good luck on him forever '.
And the king asked if that was what the fat guy was thinking about, and OF COURSE he couldn't just be like Oh noo, so he agreed and everyone just found that amusing how the pheasent fooled the court adviser.
wow the way they show birbal is truly amazin......they show him as da most genius and most intelligent person who used to say everything to akbar and akbar used to act accordingly...even in sum tv shows..as a matter of fact birbal was nothing like da many advisors and he was just treated like a servant for the great emperors.....des ppl are so stupid dey think birbal's decision ruled da empire
the guard of the palace is making them pay some money to get in. and then the one guy says he has the king's ring so the guard says ok when u go in u have to give me 1/2 what u get. then in the court the guy's like please give me 50 whips? and they're like U crazy?!! ask for jewelery,diamonds,clothes,food...and he's like nope i want that cuz the guard said..blah blah...then dun dun dun the king is like bring him to me! and then orders that the guard get the whole of what was requested (50whips).
then the king says spread that this kingdom is built on justice, etc. then the king wanted to recognize the man or something but the mullah objected and says he'll ask him something and if the man's right he'll be obsequious to him for 2 moons. so then the mullah thinks and asks: what am i thinking right now? the man says: he's asking God to give the king mercy, intelligence, health, always rule etc. and the mullah of course says that's exactly what i was thinking! ha ha and everyone is HA HA
