LOL haha so little players, this aint competition, 6 players is so boring, when competing...and everyone seems to have specialized in one class, meaning they vulnerable to their counter classes, aswell as they cant play other classes well...pathetic...ok vid though, but not impressing at all.

Let's look at Mackey, from Quantic, who I've seen play scout, soldier, sniper, spy, pyro, heavy in the competitive scene. We've had Fragile go from Soldier to Medic and play very well, Harbleu switch all over the place, and Platinum an awesome Soldier is playing Demoman this season, so you're very wrong on that front. 6 players may seem little, but it actually adds skill as opposed to the cluster spam fuck of

@SDominoes a pub, it takes much more skill in 6's because at the same time as DM skills which they all posses with any class, there is also a massive amount of tactical skill needed in knowing when to uber, how much uber the other team has, when to pus etc. This is far better competition because it actually relies on the skill of the players, there is no direct 'counter', and they wont just die to a spam fuck. Clearly you don't play tf2, or if you do you just sit as heavy and get bottom score.

@ptccashmoneymaker 6 classes? Medic, Demo, Scout, Soldier are all used often. Sniper, pyro, spy and Heavy are common offclasses, thats 8 so far, in case you can't count? Engie is the last, which IS used on last point defence reasonably often. Thats 9/9, wow 100%. Pubs don't suck, but they aren't competitive. Small amounts of people actually highlight the team aspect of it, you really need to work with your one medic as opposed to your 5, meaning as a team everything is more important. /end convo

You mentioned Mackey (whatever about Mackey or anyone else u mention btw) and theres is 6 classes u mention...not 9...i almost always plays in pubs, due to helping new players, playing for fun, instead of listening to bullshit from a 2010 player thinking he can compete...how long u played btw? ive played for over 4 months so im fine

@ptccashmoneymaker I've played for 3 years now, over 1500 hours. The Mackey example was showing he hasn't specialized as one character. But all classes are played, and consitently seen. Yes, there are some elitist players who don't play pubs and hate on new people, but a lot aren't like that as well. In the NZ community I often play pubs with some of the top players around here, and they all help out. There is no way to deny the skill involved in the top level skill scene though.

Well Its good to know you kind og old school I really hate people thinking they are "pro" and elite players, when they didnt play the game from the beginning Unfortunaly I my self first started in late 07, and players who started then knows that if you played competing games back then, and does it now, theres a big diffrence. It along time ive competed like that, and yes there is no denial in their skill, and some is nice, but there is more than being able to aim.

@ptccashmoneymaker no, they play 6v6 because it's balanced and actually relies on skill. Pub is just a clusterfuck of spam and sentries on every point on most servers. And no, many of these players can play all classes on a very high level, it's just that the standard setup with scouts, soldiers, demo and medic is overall strongest and without any real counters, but that doesn't mean the 5 other classes don't see a lot of use aswell. It has nothing to do with them "not being able to play

@ptccashmoneymaker against the new weapons", it's because a demoman charging you with a sword and oneshotting you is not balanced. They can play against them but it would make a shit competition. I have nothing against pub btw but it's just not as competitive and balanced as the 6v6 leagues strive to be. Of the 6 original maps, Granary, Gravelpit and Well is used in competitve. Nobody hates them and nobody hates new players either and most comp players try help out, I dunno what youre on about

@Rebiin "nobody hates new players"? lol thats meant to be a joke? wake up and see the how things really are, people are so rude and offensive to each other, and if the team loses once, they say the whole team sucks...12vs12 is the best for me, as its 1 of each class, alot of choices...and people who hates critz and say it sucks, is stupid...u can increase critz rate, so its a strategy, not just luck. Why would change the game? its not tf2 then, and then all can go demoknight, but whatever :D

The actual great players like these always seem friendly on forums and such, and try to help the community out. I also like playing 9v9 with 1 of each class for example, great fun.But imo 6v6 comp is the coolest, but I don't think pubbers and comp players should hate eachother as it's just a different gamemode.

And yea I know some "great" players (all is great, and those who claim they are great, is yes as u say, most likely actually noobs) But I have still seen some very good players, acting like assholes, anyone can be a pro if u get paid however, elite or something like that should be used instead, ive played in competitions, in pubs, since 07(release), and about 4k hours, but calling ursself a pro, or something, i think is still braging.

@ramboramb0 That's very high, most of these soldiers probably use around something which would be like 1.0 sens with your dpi, or even lower. Some decent soldiers use high(traxantic) but most have a medium-low sens.
