LouDNesS, see you on May 26th 2011 at Oklahoma Samurai!!! Have a safe trip on your tour. I hope you play this song at the show. I LOVE IT! \m/etal \m/ad!!!
Great band, always loved their music. I am glad Minoru is back in the band, Masaki Yamada and Mike Vescera didn't seem to fit right to me. Neither of their voices seemed right for the band. RIP Munetaka Higuchi. He was a really good drummer. Loudness definitely has some serious skills.
LOl o i didnt know my bad, funny thing though, Toshi was supposed to go of to medical school and become a doc and instead he listened to Yoshki and started X, pretty cool : )
good chunky rifff but the song really doesn't stand out beyond that....I wish I could totally praise this because I like Loudness but this song isn't doing much for me
Aww man, thats a tough one. X Japan was my first Japanese metal band, actual it was my first metal band period. They used to be my number one, but now, well.....there number two....loudness rules!!! But Toshi's and Taji were awesome!! Um hide too i guess, gota love his originallity
Anthem is great! And unlike loudness, they've kept their sound consistent since the old days. Check out Victim In Your Eyes, Night After Night, Onslaught, and Road to Nowhere. Keep it metal! \m/
X Japan was my first Metal band ever too. I've listened the fuck outta everything they ever made, even their indies stuff. I need a band for backup now in case I one day get bored of X. any suggesting bands?
Yea two big ones!! Number one, Loudness!! Thev done it all from their 80's jap metal to mid 80s motley crue style metal to the awesome grungy dark 90s metal ( albumns called Ghetoo Machine(very very hard to find, fing awesome thoug!!!!) Spritual cannoe, Engine(tripy)) to 2000 present heavy metal. Listen to all thier stuff man, trust me you wont be disappointed.
Then thires saber tiger!! Try "vague bless", and look up thier best albumn, "project one". Absolutly breath taking. Sexmachinguns too!
I'm sorry im not liking new Saber Tiger's vocalist, he sounds almost death metal to me.....I'm looking for normal sounding vocals like Toshi or Minoru...and nothing nu-metal or radio sounding
Well, i woldnt exactly call his voice death metalish but i get you. Yea i was reacently listening to X again after a while, the whole Jealousy albumn to be exact and yea your right, no one can beat X!! I just love Toshi and Taji! Um, not exactly metal or rock but you might like atsushis voice from buck tick. Try "in heavn" and "one more kiss" by buck tick. Kinda poppy though. By the way, whats your favorite top 3 X songs? lol Mine are Silent jealousy, love replica and desperate angel
My favorite 3 X songs are Sadistic Desire, Rose of Pain, and Say Anything. Well they vary according to my mood. Yea my top 3 is very different from yours. I just hate anything from Dahlia except Tears & forever love. As you can see im an old X fan only. I just discovered loudness a month ago and i like Crazy doctor, Soldier of fortune, and Like Hell
lol as far as loudness is concerned, tss, i cant even begin to say which is my fav, cause damn i love almost all thier songs except thier weird "trying to go with the rap rock flow songs" like "dogshit" and "realman". Hmm. i think my all time fav is "Rock n rolly gypsy" yea for sure it is!!
I've been listening to Japanese Metal for a while. I recommend Luna Sea, Reaction, Seikima II, Show Ya, Rajas, Blizard, Phantasmagoria, The Gazette, Kuni, Vow Wow, Earthshaker, Dead End, Creature Creature, L arc en ciel, and Gackt to name a few.....
Some of the bands aren't new metalish. Some are 80's type metal like Reaction, Seikima II, Show Ya, Rajas, Blizard, Vow Wow, Kuni, Earthshaker, Dead End, 44 Magnum, X ray, Anthem etc...
Okay i take it bac, i love all thier songs....lol enven thier indies stuff which is mostly musical compositions and funny wording, toshi just has a way with words lol
"Blue Blood" the album was my favorite, but after I've listened to almost their whole discography, I end up liking Vanishing Vision more. Yea in the end I like more Metal-ish songs from them. I hate the songs on Dahlia, they sound to Radio-ish for me.
I agree. Dahlia was a poppy albumn. However idk somhow the song dahlia grew on me and well i sorta like it. Sure as hell not one of my favs but its alright. O and yea, vanishing vision was kinda heavy, Vanishing Vision was on the edge of being thrash metal if you ask me lol. but it still rocks though! have you heard the latest news? Sugizo from luna sea is joining X Japan to help replace hide. Idk, i got a bad feeling X is headed on the road to pop
worse news, have you heard their song "Jade"? Yoshiki is just going down hill from now on, i've lost faith in new X. I mean he ripped himself off, it's a mix between IV and Without You. And the riffs sound like Slipknot
Sigh, well, i just heard Jade. Its alright, i cant really see what you mean bout slipknot but yea the guitar skills in the song are sucky. Damn, you know i never really was into hide that much, but listening to this makes me realize how vital he was to X and damn do i wish he was still around!! I fear X is going down the road to pop and adopting a radioish sound. Sure do miss thier wild crazy days lol. O well..maybe theyll shape up : )
Yea most X fans are either denying that the new song suck or either they just like radio sounding songs. I never liked hide either, I just hated all of his songs. But the irony is that my favorite one song in the world is by hide, "Sadistic Desire" But other than that i hate every song that he has ever written, they sound to poppy
and extreme fanboyism is not a good think: hearing you is like hearing people who say that gods of war is a good album or that iron maiden after seventh son are almost as good as the previous album... these albums suck but people like you cannot face th truth!
i suggest you a couple of good bands: OLD loudness, ross the boss era manowar, OLD judas priest, manilla road, omen, battleroar, dammaj, OLD running wild, OLD riot, OLD quiet riot... listen to TRUE heavy metal brother... cheers!!! if you need any suggestion on MANY other valuable bands, feel free to ask me! rock on
ok haha, so you are talking about all that crap and you are only 17??? i mean hahaha... there are new bands that play with the same old school attitude, go listen warbringer, or old bands with good new material like hirax, but dont talk crap dude, you really look like a "kid rock" fan doing this,,,
kid rock?!?!? I mean, do you know even a tiny little bit about the band I told you to listen at? by the way battleroar is a new band which plays very good heavy metal... other bands like 'em? holy martyr, assedium, rosae crucis, hyborian steel... I do know many others of these bands too... you seem to know not what your talking about! i tell you, you better listen to manilla road... a new path in music will unfold for you and you'll defenitely love it.
fuck you man!!! go listen to thunder in the east, on the prowl and such cds... that is true loudness, not this shit!!! you're ignorant, stupid and dumbass... notice: loudness probably is in my top 10 fav bands...
calling me ignorant? haha. ive listened too all their albums, so i suggest you watch what you say. i know this isnt the best of loudness, but you must support their newer song if you are a true loudness fan and stop bitching about their new style. take it or leave it!!
what happened to the solos? The riffs are really good (manowar) but c'mon man, you can't expect this to be a Loudness Metal song without Akira's lightning fast and precision solos like the old days!!!
On April 14, 2008 it was announced that he was diagnosed with Hepatocellular carcinoma, a type of liver cancer. On November 30, 2008 Munetaka passed away from his illness. He was 49 years old
Found them about a year ago--My take is their early songs were great, their early to mid 90's by and large sucked, but Metal Mad puts them right back on the map!
I've been listening to Loudness since '82 and they TRULY show their own UNIQUE interpretation of metal as a style. Akira is one of my all-time favorites. I'd like to see him get away from the nu-metal, detuned school of playing. I think his rhythm tone and chord choices are JUST AWESOME!!! Even better than his soloing. Their upbringing on traditional Japanese sounds, melodies, etc... are what has made them SPECIAL.
I had Thunder In The East back in the early 80's and was instantly hooked to Akira and Loudness. I wish Kozo the best of luck on filling in the drum seat of the Mighty Loudness. Get well soon Higuchi Munetaka my thoughts are with you. Rock on Loudness and it's great to hear this new release! A Fan for the past 25 years and for life!
I don't care what media says. I don't care what 'American Idol" says. I don't care what corporate MTV says. THIS MUSIC IS HEAVY METAL, TRUE TO ITS FORM. AND IT'S NEVER GONNA DIE!
The King of Many Strokes Kozo Suganuma - known as "TE-KAZ-OH"!
Kozo began playing drums at the age of eight and remarkably became a professional session player at the age of 15. He is now a major feature of the Japanese pop scene. After Niihara Minoru informed him of Higuchi Munetaka health condition, he decided to take over the drummer role of LOUDNESS! He used to play with Ded Chaplin With Niihara Minoru; please do give Kozo san all the support to play drums with LOUDNESS!!!
No problem--had a few Crown Royals when I wrote that response! If it is a wig it is friggin' awesome! Love to see these guys in concert, but haven't seen then anywhere close to Minnesota...
the problem is not what you said itself, but the assumption on which it is based. by not relfecting on the point and saying such a thing instantly, you demonstrated your characteristics. you shouldn't have used the word 'nuts' if you didn't know the history and style of the group. yes you, or anyone, can make a comment about the style/sound, but it would have been better if you had refrained from insulting the sound.
if you were a great-talented musician, i will surely apologise to you, honest.
1st why do you think musicians have better taste in music than non musicians? 2nd by comparing him to one of the great metal vocalist of all time is hardly a knock. i reiterate, your a dick
you are going off the tangent...the problem is your MANNAER of arguing. but maybe i was an idiot; i tried to correct it despite i was not your father nor teacher.god blame me.hahaha.
Awesome Song!!! Loudness is still alive and kicking!! I love minoru's vocals in this song and his acting LOL in the song :)..."no preacher, no teacher all we have is fun" LOL Awesome song!! Akiras technique still rocks hard...just wish some of my American metal fans would recognise Akiras freaking Talent and Loudness's overall power and metal spirt. But no...they just ignore it and blab on bout lamb of god, avenged seventh fold and all that other stuff..which is good but not as good as loudness!

Akira is a guitar God. This video only further solidifies that.

Get well soon, Munetaka.
I wish you all the best.
By the way, Loudness rules!
I don't care what media says. I don't care what 'American Idol" says. I don't care what corporate MTV says. THIS MUSIC IS HEAVY METAL, TRUE TO ITS FORM. AND IT'S NEVER GONNA DIE!

LATEST NEWS!
He used to play with Ded Chaplin With Niihara Minoru; please do give Kozo san all the support to play drums with LOUDNESS!!!

short-sighted man, unable to enjoy anything because of arrogance, dont know how to listen to music,,,listen to THE music you like.

the comment below is for krevice.
dontbelieveaword1978 3 years ago
because i sai he sounds like someone i'm arrogant and short sighted? your a dick
krevice 3 years ago
the problem is not what you said itself, but the assumption on which it is based. by not relfecting on the point and saying such a thing instantly, you demonstrated your characteristics. you shouldn't have used the word 'nuts' if you didn't know the history and style of the group. yes you, or anyone, can make a comment about the style/sound, but it would have been better if you had refrained from insulting the sound.
if you were a great-talented musician, i will surely apologise to you, honest.
dontbelieveaword1978 3 years ago
1st why do you think musicians have better taste in music than non musicians? 2nd by comparing him to one of the great metal vocalist of all time is hardly a knock. i reiterate, your a dick
krevice 3 years ago
you are going off the tangent...the problem is your MANNAER of arguing. but maybe i was an idiot; i tried to correct it despite i was not your father nor teacher.god blame me.hahaha.
