FS Recorder Tutorial Part 1

I need help with FS Recorder, everytime I try to use play. It keeps reloading itself as if I just click the Fly now button repeatedly.The simulator is running, but after a second or less (litterally) it reloads. I have REX2.0, Ultimate Traffic 2, and PMDG 747 and they never messed up before :( Please help

when you manual install...it actually gets done faster,all you have to do is drag the dll file to modules instead of wait for the crappy installer to take its own time

I recorded PMDG 747 Landing but whenever i select replay as traffic i dont see other AI planes, just me and the AI "me". I just wanna fill the airport for it to look alive, Altough taking a plane and recording myself each time will take alot of time.

hello, i am an fs recorder user but when i record i have a problem. When im recording i fly and land fine and i set it to record AI. When i play back it plays that AI but also the active AI as if i werent playing back. For Example : I land a plane and an a330 is holding short of the runway, but when i play back, it will show the plane holding short but also the plane taking off and it gets in my way and my recording looks bad. Please help me!!! thank you!

@ThePilotBuddy I think what you need to change is when you go into "Record", you need to check the "Record AI traffic" also. That should fix it.

Welcome Much - keep up the good work ! - 'build it and they will come' If 'they' tear it down - build it again ! i am looking forward to more of your videos - as far as the FS Recorder goes - it really is for FS 2004 or X - several of addon's available that claim compatibility with FS 2004only have worked with my FS2002 - but FS Recorder means what it says about FS2004 only - I couldn't get it 'rigged' up to work with FS2002

Yes, I have FS2004 and I wanted to land the plane. I pressed recording and I landed at the airport. I wanted to play a video and what happened is the plane was crazy. The cockpit command was out of control!!!!! I was in the Airbus. The master went on, the lights were flicking and the computer primary display and others were out of control. They were flashing!!!! I would never use the other recorder upload at you-tube. That sound is annoying. FS Recorder is the best:) Records traffic:) Thanks :)

you have to record a landing, takeoff etc.. then pick "play as traffic", and you see the plane landing, takeoff etc.. then take a new aircraft, press record, after you picked the other aircraft as traffic, then save the file you just made in another name, and the pick both files, and watch.. and keep doing that, until u got a buzy airport :).

No, as he said, it records Data, not Video Capture. You can how ever record with FSRecorder, then play back as traffic, and record with Fraps to stick it on YouTube.

Ok. You see, if you start fraps, it will record your game image output. Those files are not being compressed though, they are saved live. That is what causes a significant performance hit on most computers (including mine). I think FSX crashes due to an out of memory situation . Simply put, your computer most likely doesn't have enough RAM to process both FSX and Fraps. FS is very dependant of both CPU and RAM performance.
