i live in Kinlochleven, some of you's may know where this is, the pipers are suposed to be play slowly with a tradition of Scottish music. Don't forget the bad quality of this mic, his sound and reed might be good. I tried to record some of my own piping but the quality of the mic was terrible.

Hiya. I dont think the sound quality is that good...theres a warble there that makes it sounds like he's strangling something. Theres been alot of critisism for the way he plays...is is he really that bad? I dont listen to alot of bagpipes, so to be honest I cant tell the difference

The worst offender for making a fast buck from terrible piping is that guy "Spud" the piper. Any1 else know who I'm on about?! He's the one that turned up at the airport & just started playing when Madonna arrived in Scotland for her wedding. The guy makes my blood boil. I played with him at a Highland Dancing comp once, n he could hardly string a tune together. And he has the fuckin nerve to charge 600 quid for weddings etc., just cos people think he played as per Madonna's 'request'
