  • Yo man what all the led light for?

I had American Sega CD version one and it dint have led lights.

I remember seeing sonic commercial with led lights and i was really disappointed when i got American version.

  • i have got a mega cd 1 and mega drive 1 with the master system convertor hooked up as well as the mega drive 2 and mega cd 2 with the 32x hooked up, so a lot of sega then, also i believe the mega cd 2 was rushed to market about six months after the mega cd was launched in april 1993

  • Does this system have region lock, prefer the look of the Japanese cases compared to the American cases.

  • I hused to own the the mega drive, mega CD and the 32x and the 32x CD version of night trap. Sold the lot and now I want them all back

  • i had a mega cd and that game my uncle gave me his when i was 7 he moved to jersy in uk never met any1 else that had1 they jst all had mega drives the the saturn came out and ever1 got a playstaiton

  • I have Golden Axe to the Sega Genesis

  • It has the arcade version music and sound effects.

  • I think the megadrive 1/mega cd combo looks a lot better and cooler than the megadrive 2/mega cd 2 combo.

Just looks badass with the megacd under it :D

    Great review!.

  • man the mega cd mk1 looks slick!

  • Looks really nice mate, wish I had a model one. Got a model 2 myself. Got any games for it yet?

  • yes, sega classics collection, night trap, sonic cd which arrived today and a few games i burned to a cdr

  • cool...but i still think they sould have called it the sega cd everywhere even though Britain had the mega drive

  • surely that is not true the mega cd was called mega cd in japan, asia, and europe, basically everywhere except the usa and canada

i have the sega cd, and i do thin though that it is a better name, im not to sure why sega had to put mega on everything back then

  • the sega or mega cd is a great underated system, but i think it should have been sega cd everywhere :)

  • That is so awesome!

  • Thanks!
