This is just utter nonsense. Autism is not caused chemically, it is in the DNA of the person from conception. It causes abnormal neurological structure of the brain. I have studied this subject in great detail and also I have an Autism spectrum disorder called Asperger Syndrome and I sure as hell didn't get it from some vaccine.

U.S Teachers & schools treated my son for learning disability. I told them if he has that why he learns? I found out he was Aspergers Autism. He is very smart & now he learns better than normal kids. Autistic is not retardation it stops you from speaking & comprehension but when they get older their speech gets better. Now my son he speaks normal as anyone but he still has sensitivity to noise & fear of darkness. I know what these family went through. We cannot give up it will get better. Faith!

@Vengeance4Me79 By 1996 I had left University and was trying to hold down jobs with no idea AS even existed. I wasn't diagnosed until 2003. I have a hearing Impairment that was caused by mild measles (no vaccines for it back then) which has caused me a lot of problems including a lot of difficulties in my marriage. It has some times caused even more problems than my AS. I have never had any vaccinations whilst pregnant.Vaccines do help protect against illness that both can and do kill.

@Vengeance4Me79 According to another post in this list (one not posted by me) Autism didn't become an official diagnosis (get on the DM) until 1980. By then I was 11 and clearly had too high an IQ for classic Autism. High Functioning Autism is a very recent diagnosis.

If I remember right it was something like early 1990's and Lorna Wing didn't do her bit, which preceded it becoming an official diagnosis, until after I was at Secondary School. Just because Hans Asperger had been doing his work on it didn't mean people teaching kids in UK state secondary schools knew about it. Actually a school psychologist diagnosed me normal when I was in Primary School

My twins showed signs of Autism before MMR. I have Aspergers Syndrome but never had MMR- instead my hearing was damaged by having mild measles as a child. Even if vaccines were never invented Autism would still exist.

Autism was not in the DSM until 1980 as a separate diagnosis. Asperger's Syndrome was not in the DSM until version IV which was 1994. In the medical community you cannot get diagnosed with something that is not in one of the accepted manuals. Before 1980 Autism was considered to be a symptom of schizophrenia.

Thimerosal was first added to vaccines after the Bundaberg Australia incident where children died from a multi-dose container of diphtheria toxin-antitoxin mixture that became contaminated with Staph. Autism is being diagnosed at a higher rate now that it is actually in the DSM. We have now found evidence that what we call Asperger's Syndrome was actually described prior to Hans Asperger but the person who di the study was in Soviet Russia and we are only just now getting copies of her work. Her work came a full 2 years before Bundaberg.

@ThePregnancySlaves the flushing that occurs when you take niacin is caused because you have reached a temporary saturation of niacin according to Dr. Hoffer. Then trust me niacin deficiency is not a problem in my child. The lowest dosage I can buy in my area,250mg,will send him into a 20 minute red flush. Why do you have such a hard time accepting that genetic anomalies can run in families and that autism is caused by those anomalies? BTW I already read Dr. Hoffer. On some things we disagree.

There are plenty of other reasons why there would be more diagnoses now- such as better recognition/awareness and a broader range of diagnoses (and people with disabilities being more included in society so more likely to get a chance to become parents may also play a part).

Joshua is my most severe and profound Autistic child. He is predominately non-verbal. I knew I was always different but I never had a label until after Josh. This video is garbage. I have 6 children diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome All of them had NT fathers (2 dads) I have 2 children that are diagnosed with Kanner's Autism. Their dad is an Aspie and so am I. So when I had kids with the 2 NT dads they kids were Aspies. When I had kids with the Aspie dad we had Kanner Autistics. Basic genetics links Asperger's and Autism only one is more sever than the other.

What about the Yokohama Study in Japna where the vacinne was ceased and reported ASC cases actually went up ??? Or in Denmark where the vacinne was introduced in 1987, one would expect a rise in cases approx. three years later, in face there was no rise for approx. six years and this was put down to improved diagnosis. My daughter never had vaccines until after she was diagnosed because I bought into all this crap after her older brother was diagnosed. The reality is that Autism is genetic. @amerz1 I am autistic myself and I know full well where I got it from. My own dad. And he most probably from his. And you know what? I'm fine with it. My brain is just as valuable as the next and though it's wired differently it still gets the job done. But apparantly my life should not have been.
