  • manchester united

  • 3:00 "its made for wrighty to come on and score" mcmenemy doesnt look convinced!!

  • What the hell is Seaman doing on the bench?

  • "They wanted a word, I said heads"!! Was that just the first word that came to mind? Fuck sake. He even seemed to be quite proud of himself with that line!

  • Who was the England 'keeper at this time if it wasn't Seaman?

  • @GallagherWellerBrown chris woods

  • When Turnip is talking about playing with "Heads" he sounded just like Alan Partridge.

  • all they needed was kevin keegan as striker , me in goal + thats it , we would have thrashed them - better than what was on the pitch.

  • Nigel Clough played for the greatest English Manager David Seaman sould have been in goal Gary Pallister and Lee sharpe sould have been in the first team not tony dorigo or palmer. And Ian Wright sould have been three from the start he might have score more then one goal.how could the sun call graham taylor a turnip I think that a massive sicking insult to turnip

  • I would've hated to be in that England dressing room at half time!

  • When he runs out for the penalty appeal at 4:35 - thats Frank Sidebottom right there

  • Its no wonder Taylor was shite managing England,| have watched every part up to know all what he says to Mcmanmy and Neal is whos that on the floor, whos gone in tackling,he dosen't who half the players are,and hes the one that picked them, also a passionate clued up manager is regurly on the touch lines giving instructions to change a game ,i haven't once seen Taylor up to know giving any instructions from the sidelines

  • @lugwalder short-sighted?

  • Ian Wright NEVER got a fair crack with England. Fucking travesty.

  • Sooo embarassing as an Englishman, like the muppet show..

  • Just a thought . I said 'heads' LMFAO

  • Neal sounds fucking pissed whenever he talks.

  • referee referee he sound s like an old woman who just missed her bus.

  • Turner looks so unprofessional as well what with the tracksuit. At least McMenemie made an effort to look the part, and he's only the bloody assistant.

  • Ya heads, you play football with your heads!

  • When you see who was on the bench, and then you see the dipsticks he played....well....

  • 1:22 lol Taylor is a comedy genius!! you watch this whole documentary..and its so bloody funny-how he swears, the things he says, his tactial knowledge is quite basic shall we say...but the players were a fucking a disgrace...arrogant idiots...and at the end..you feel sorry for Graham...hes got more respect from me after watching this...

  • 0:03 - English Fernando Torres

  • This is such a fine film. And hilarious.

  • At least Taylor made a good substitution bringing on Wright for Palmer. But obviously picking Palmer, Woods, Dorigo, Earl Barrett and the out of form Barnes + Walker wasn't too bright!

  • Phil Neal, a man who scored in 2 european cup finals, won so many other trophys with Liverpool and with 50 england caps, what happened?

  • At 3.15 it's tweedle dum and tweedle dee next to Taylor!!!!

  • What's Gazza drinking?????

  • I fucking love this shit - it's bloody amazing.

  • Tony Dorigo not english and not good enough. I'm sure he i've heard him on the radio telling us about how great the Austrailian national team are.

  • Phil Neal - Nods and agrees. Quite pathetic to watch really! :-)

  • Bloody hell, Woods! 1.50

  • bit of tactical genius in this clip for fucks sake!

  • Look at the outfield players Taylor had to choose from at the top of this clip: Clough, Pallister, Wright and Sharpe. That has to be the most shocking England bench I have ever seen. How are you supposed to beat international teams with non-international standard players.

  • chris woods, watch the fuck out mann

  • Guitarmessiah

    You must be a Jock.

  • 1:47 fuck! shit!! Barbra Streisand!!!

  • WHAT?

  • The good old days of English football. Christ England were even worse back then than they are now. But mark my words, in a few years, as soon as Lampard, Gerrard and Beckham are done with the England team and Capello quits as England coach England will go back to being as shocking as they were in '93. England won't qualify for the 2014 World Cup, I can see it coming.

  • @guitarmessiah86

Gerrard and Lampard have been awful for England so I don't see how them retiring would affect the England team.

England are always over hyped going into every major competition.

I can see them being knocked out in the second round in SA.

  • @guitarmessiah86 No, England will get better once Lampard 's gone, most over rated player the world has ever seen!!!!

  • How many overrated players in the world have you seen? Lampard is underrated. He's scored 20+ goals a season from midfield for 7 years straight. There's not a midfielder in world football who can match that. With England he's too busy carrying the overhyped Gerrard to be effective.

  • @FlaviusConstantius Lampard is actually the whole problem with the england team right now.i dont care about how many goals he's scored. The guy sucks balls for England.Put him in a chelsea 11 surrounded by english players-and he would be just as poor.Dont praise a mediocre player because he plays with REAL world class players weekly for his chavvy lottery winner esque club. ok

  • Really? Lampard's to blame for Gerrard and Rooney being utter crap? Course he'd be poorer surrounded by England players, given that Chelsea's players are mostly superior to England's. Rooney looked great in an average United team last year, although Gerrard went one better and somehow managed to look rubbish in a rubbish Liverpool team. If Lampard was mediocre he'd have been shipped out of Chelsea and replaced by someone better, just like SWP, Parker, Bridge, Johnson and co were.

  • @FlaviusConstantius I waited until after todays game to reply to you. Lampard was (once again) totally ineffective in the Slovenia match. He needs to be dropped with immediate effect. The whole key to englands lack of creativity is lampards inclusion in the squad.Michael Carrick would be a far better alternative, with england adopting a diamond shaped midfield.Lampard and Heskey are free loaders.

  • Musta missed Lampard's assist for Rooney, who promptly fluffed it. If Gerrard had produced a pass like that the glee brigade would still be creaming themselves. Another mediocre showing from Shrek, BTW. Best player in the world? Ha ha. Lampard's problem is he has to be shunted out of position to accommodate the likes of Gerrard and Barry, who lack the guile to do what he does or properly link with him. Carrick? Good Lord.

  • @FlaviusConstantius Im far from being a Steven Gerrard fanboy.I happen to believe that he is highly overated.However-please dont try and make out that Lampard is anywhere near gerrards ability.Iv never accepted Wayne Rooney to be a world class player either. The sad fact is-that we havnt actually got a world class player in this team.Lampard makes the england team worse.

  • When Gerrard was out of the England team, notably for the 4-1 against Croatia, both England and Lampard looked so much better. Contrast with the games where Lampard was missing and Gerrard played (1-2 vs Russia). Seems clear to me which cylinder wasn't firing. Lampard is brilliant for Chelsea season in, season out, yet rarely used properly by England, which is his and England's loss. Same deal with Xavi who isn't used by Spain the way he is by Barca, and is consequently less effective.

  • england were lucky as fuck to even get a draw in this. the polish striker missed two one on ones!!!!

  • for a moment I thought I was watching Mike Basset: England manager...

  • haha! muppets!!

  • Did you see Taylor make sure Nigel had a good stretch. He only wanted what was best, for Nigel.

  • And if young Nigel says he's happy, he must be happy

  • LOL!!!

  • that bench was full of talent the only 1 that was right to be there was clough but good back-up non the less. seaman was better than woods pally and sharpe were in their prime 4 united as was wright 4 arsenal it boggles the mind what taylor was thinking a the time! And as for having McCmenamy and neil as his coach and assistant is crazy!

  • Did you think it was necessary to kick the ball first time? It wasn't the greatest ball back from Des neither........ Classic!

  • Jak Leśniak mógł tego nie strzelić...

  • polska should have won this!!!

  • prawie ich mieliśmy ;]

  • wow... carlton was playing... no wonder we were screwed

  • The Three Wise Men...fuck me!!! Pallister, Clough, Sharpe and Ian Wright on the bench no wonder we struggled. Me and my three mates talk more sense watching fucking non-league!!

  • + This.

  • and steve bruce wasn't even selected

and he went on to caption the Man Utd. double side of 1994

    Taylor was a fucking joke.

  • @PARKY1978 u forgot the likes of Chris waddle, Peter Beardsley and Steve Bruce were hardly called up as well while the likes of Andy Sinton, Tony Daley and OMG CARLTON PALMER had extended runs in the team

  • @PARKY1978 absolute donkey of a manager, he plays palmer ahead of pallister?!

  • @PARKY1978 them 4 sat on the bench and yet carlton palmer was in the team

  • ....and remember... you play football with your HEADS.

    .Graham Taylor.

  • Can anyone let me know if this which was shown on ITV4 on Tuesday was the original version or not (I didn't see that at the time as I was so young). Cheers!

  • The truly dark days of England International football!

The man did not have a fucking clue it has to be said.

For any youngster watching this it must look like a right comedy sketch but i assure you it was all real!

This was on last night on ITV 4 and is TV gold.

    "LINESMAN"!!!

  • "Can I have a drink please?"

God bless Gazza. I'm keeping him in my prayers.

  • Was Gazza Having a Beer there? LOL! "YOUR IN WRIGHTY!, YEAAAHHH!" Comedy!

  • With the Exception of Clough all those Players on the Bench were good players that had good careers! and Won things in the years ahead! and they were sat on the bench while shite players like Woods,Palmer,Walker were on the Pitch? Why?

  • That's a great shout actually, seems obvious on reflection. I mean Ian Wright for instance scored an abundance at domestic level, and never got to a world cup

  • Well Wright and Seaman had just won the League and F.A Cup with Arsenal and Sharpe and Pallister had just Won Premiership with United? Chris Woods cocked up for Arsenal's Cup Win! and Des Walker and Carlton Palmer were never even that good at Wednesday anyway?

  • Wrighty wasn't with Arsenal when they won the league in 91, he was still a Palace lad.

  • I meant him and Seaman had Won the League Cup and F.A Cup Double!

  • macmenemie may as well be a dummy and neal is like a parrott.both utterly useless without a single clue about football

  • The old Yes man Phil Neal. Pants
