Break down his name. Ed-gar / Winter. What a cool name. He Ed-gar's(whatever that means) and the season, the Winter. A powerful name. Edgar Winter. He brews a storm, a powerful message. And his music has been nothing short of that.
I just came back from Watching Edgar Live at the River Front in Detroit (Rock City!) and this living legand is still awesome! Thank you 94.7 for this Great God of Rock! (I first saw him in 77 at Bowen In Ypsilanti)
We "Fucking young dumb mother fuckers" may not realize as a whole but I can name 80 off the top of my head that do realize, including me. Let's hope most if not all of the old hits come back.
I was at this show about 20 feet away it was great thanks for putting this up are you going to put more footage up of this show on youtube ? thanks matt
Edgar Winters is one soulful dude, I tell you. And it's to the bone to, not none of that "listen to me sound like I'm black" crap! If you played this before or after a Sly and the Family Stone tune, most people would say that they were the same group :-)
Man is there anything Edgar Winter can't do? Saxophone, Good Vocals, Percussion and Synthesizers. Talk about your multifaceted musician huh? I wish he would come to Kansas City Eventually that would be an awesome show. Does he Still use the ARP 2600 for Frankenstein? The Controller he uses was an ARP 2600 Synth board
Unfortunately, I didn't get to film the whole show. I had to rush from work, and barely had any film left, and when Frankenstein took 16 minutes alone, there wasn't much else I could get :-). All I have is what jonchowe uploaded for me.
If you didn't catch it already, click on jonchowe's profile link, and Frankenstein is there.

I was there! Great show. Did you catch the synth. malfunction? They had to scramble and get it fixed before the next song.
By any chance did you film Rockhead or Love Light? I would love to see them posted! Thanks
