I think they are both amazing vocalists but I tend to like Kelly's voice more. I don't care for Leona's slower vibrato as much and she sometimes sounds a little too much like Mariah. Don't get me wrong. I give her mad props. That is a hard f'n song and they both have incredible range & tone. They're just different & its hard to comare them.
Kelly has a very pleasant voice to listen to and a high vocal range, plus she always puts me in the mood of the song. Leona is good too, but her voice sounds too shaky/emotional for me.

i always liked both of their versions but i think that it's not about better or worse. it's like comparing apples and artichokes. they are too far apart to compare. leona's is lighter and more airy while kelly's all about belting the notes into the mic. it's all a matter of preference

always hated kelly's first single, then i heard leona sing it and thaught it was j8ust right! the tempo is better in leona's version. Kelly is so much better in singing the rockier stuff.
I love Kelly's power in her lower range but admittedly Leona sings the higher notes better, thus I like Leona's version of this song.
However I don't think Leona could ever sing any of Kelly's chart hits in the same way because her lower notes aren't anywhere as strong - if only someone could combine the best of both singers.
To be fair, Kelly's live performance was outdoors, she didn't get the same resonance as Leona.

Leona's voice is beautiful but her voice isn't as powerful as Kelly's. She can hit the notes higher and her voice may sound smoother but it's the same. She is cut to sing ballad type songs like Bleeding Love but she wouldn't be able to sing the stuff Kelly sings. Kelly's is deeper and more diverse. She can sing rock oriented songs with ease while I don't see Leona doing that. Leona's type of song is using her falsetto and her voice tends to be thinner. Both are amazing though, of course.

And I had no idea about these two versions but I found them because I was watching a video of "Anna Maria Perez de Tagle - A Moment Like This". She is an actrees that occasionaly appears in "Hannah Montana" and had a secondary role in "Camp Rock". I think that her version is better. She has a beatiful voice and an amazing vibratto.
This isnt a very good comparison. The acoustics are better where Leona Lewis is singing. Its more difficult to sing outdoors. The sound just gets absorbed. Kelly did a great job for being in the open and in the cold.

i always liked both of their versions but i think that it's not about better or worse. it's like comparing apples and artichokes. they are too far apart to compare. leona's is lighter and more airy while kelly's all about belting the notes into the mic. it's all a matter of preference

Leona has better vocal look cause she always sings boring, typical and so monotonous ballads where she used scream too much. Kelly herself, has much higher vocal range, she sings higher notes and holds them much longer plus she sounds wonderful in various musical genres. I love Kelly's power in her lower range but admittedly Leona sings the higher notes better, thus I like Leona's version of this song.
However I don't think Leona could ever sing any of Kelly's chart hits in the same way because her lower notes aren't anywhere as strong - if only someone could combine the best of both singers.
To be fair, Kelly's live performance was outdoors, she didn't get the same resonance as Leona.

Leona's voice is beautiful but her voice isn't as powerful as Kelly's. She can hit the notes higher and her voice may sound smoother but it's the same. She is cut to sing ballad type songs like Bleeding Love but she wouldn't be able to sing the stuff Kelly sings. Kelly's is deeper and more diverse. She can sing rock oriented songs with ease while I don't see Leona doing that. Leona's type of song is using her falsetto and her voice tends to be thinner. Both are amazing though, of course.

Leona lewis alll the wayyyyyy, kelly live performance of the britt awards was terrible,she put me off.
Dont give me wrong i love kelly clakson her voice is special,but leona show emtion, after her run performance on the x facter,that was an insult to all singers, and homeless was sentional live...

they are both great.. but the original version still is the best for me.. leonas falsetto is really amazing.. but kellys voice is more powerful i guess cause she hits the note greatly without doing falsetto and her voice could be a band type and i think leonas voice isnt a band type.. still they are both great on their type of music.. just my opinion.. ^_^v

Their voices don't match at all so why do people keep doing that I'll never understand but everyone has it's fan and so do I and I gotta say I love Kelly more cause she can sing any kind of song. That's what I love about her the most :))

And I had no idea about these two versions but I found them because I was watching a video of "Anna Maria Perez de Tagle - A Moment Like This". She is an actrees that occasionaly appears in "Hannah Montana" and had a secondary role in "Camp Rock". I think that her version is better. She has a beatiful voice and an amazing vibratto.

This isnt a very good comparison. The acoustics are better where Leona Lewis is singing. Its more difficult to sing outdoors. The sound just gets absorbed. Kelly did a great job for being in the open and in the cold.
