  • EMS was/is one of the finest synthesizers ever made.Anyone that thinks otherwise is an idiot, and knows nothing about music.Go back to your sterile, digital piece of crap, you knuckle dragging philistine!

  • @frozinarosie Thanks for sounding like an idiot.

  • Great!

  • TERRIBLE!!!

  • i feel some jungle drums coming!

  • Depeche Mode used one on Ultra!.".Love thieves" has it all over it!

  • Eno used this on Bowie's Berlin trilogy

  • this is stunning brilliance!!!!!!!!! wow!!!!!

  • awesome

  • @paragon2138 as did Hawkwind and the Floyd.

  • where is the proof this is a real synti? I hate these kid of vids with just pictures

  • @sleestack808

just google the name dude. this is definitely a real -analog- synth

  • @tet121 I meant the video could be playing a soundtrack made w anything. I wanna see knobs turning

  • @sleestack808: Man, the track is from a German team of synth veterans who composed tracks for a lot of vintage synths. Google "Originalton West" or "Synthesizer von gestern". They made 3 CDs between 1992 and 1994 or so.

  • @sleestack808 can't you hear it man?

  • @sleestack808: Check the info.

  • is it the synth that was use for ''on the run''?

  • How many of these were made??

    Amazing sound!

  • I played one of these last year and I was totally blown away. It changed my view on synths as only a weird, nerdy little ugly box with a built-in spring reverb can do it. Beyond awesome!

  • Ohrgasmus!!!!

  • @GaEbBo: For all non-Germans: Ohrgasmus = eargasm

  • I knew this guy at uni who picked up one of these for £15 in a car boot sale!!

We also had a vcs3 at uni. They are amazing machines with a very unique tone.

    I wish I had one

  • £15 flippin eck

  • @theoriginaldanalogue 15 quid... what? :O

  • @theoriginaldanalogue MIddlesex poly had one and me and 2 mates had lessons from Eddie Franklin White on it in 1977.

  • I wish I had one of these!

  • Oh heck. this is really sumthing else. Crazy crazy sounds.

  • Lovely. Middlesex poly had one of these in the mid 70's and I had 3 or 4 sessions fooling around on it. Anyone remember Eddie Franklin White? He was the lecturer who showed me and my mate how it worked.

  • Kinda sounds like "Dr. Who meets Pink Floyd".

  • Comment removed

  • wow that thing is nuts

  • if you like these sounds, be sure to check out Conrad Schnitzler's 70's recordings!!

  • Really good sound! you might want to check out White Noise 2 Concerto for Synthesiser. David Vorhaus uses just two of these for the album.

  • Such a specific sound. I've only heard this stuff from the synthi.

  • Very cool!

  • Absolutely crazy machine! I love it.

  • WOW!

  • I have these CD's and they are quite cool!

Worth grabbing if you are into older synths.

  • Great vintage synth where can I get the CD's?
