Those writers, actors, and everyone else must see what they're doing to us. Giving us the illusion that Arthur and Merlin is a possability. They've changed a lot of things but I doubt they'll change it that much which is sad since Arthur/Merlin is only one of the best slash couples in the whole world! Loved the video!

For instance, Arthur/Gwen might seem romantic but it isn't because no matter how they try to insert the noble ideas about equality etc, she is not really Arthur's equal. So she might just be what is termed a "karmic soulmate", someone who resembles the true soulmate in some way. Just like what Merlin feels for Freya because he can be himself with her. But ultimately these are just test-drives for the soul. A&M=2 sides of the same coin
