Another point i'd like to make on the sheikhs lecture is about the reign of the prophet Sulayman AS. It's true that the prophet according to the Quran has asked for a reign that is nothing like it in the future generations to come.

But the next question would be did Allah SWT answered him?

Did Allah SWT made an ijaabah to his wish? The Quran never stated that.

Allah SWT doesn't always grant wishes to the prophets, such as that of the wish of Noah AS for his son to be saved.

but my intuition is that if the dajjal is not mentioned in the Quran then it's not an important aspect of the religion.. that even without using the concept of the dajjal we could attribute the tribulations that we are experiencing is of the G&M(Gog and magog) that has a goal of the clash of civilization..wouldn't the concept dajjal be a possible part of their plot?

@johanizahri There are number of correct ahadeeth that mention Dajjal...If Quran is important, then it is also important what us commanded in it and we are being commanded again and again to follow Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him)...so we can't say hadeeth CAN be fake or what ??? Many Hadeeths regarding dajjal are sahih ... so as per command of Allah swt, we have to accept them
