  • Many thanks! I have found a polyester release sheet online here in the UK, It claim to not bond with resin! :) Many many thanks for sharing your knowledge again. You rock!!

  • I like the revision to this video. Explaining the need for experimentation with catalyst ratios is important and helpful.

  • Tap Plastics LET'S ROOOOOOOOCK!!!!

  • I would love to buy some of the really hard curing resin to make bike parts for show.

  • Thanks for posting this. I have watched the first version and wanted to achieve the glass smooth surface effect you have demonstrated, I have got some ridgid PVC sheet, and thought i may use it instead of Mylar you recommended, wondering if the resin will bond with it, or i can easily peel it off from the resin?

  • @kwanchen The resin will stick to the PVC. Any plastic that can be glued with a solvent type glue (like PVC or acrylic) will bond to the resin. Another option besides Mylar is glass. The trick will be laying the glass on the resin in such a way that no bubbles are trapped. Once cured, the glass will lift right off.

  • cool.
