  • JESUS IS MY HERO!

  • There is no miss under standing and it's not weird as the world understands and there is no charismatic . Read John3:5, Repent first then Acts 2:38. Baptism in Jesus Name the only Name...Amen & Amen.

  • 1:35 sounds like the story of Daniel in the Lion's Den

  • I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost so I speak in tongues.

  • @TheDownAndOutKS THE GENTILES CAN NOT TEACH THE WORD OF YAHWEH.

  • @benjudah71 and who says this why cant a gentile preach explain to me

  • TBN, CBN,CREFLO,TD JAKES HERALD CAMPING, RICK WARREN JOHN HOG... OOPS I MENT JOHN HAGEE KINNNITH,BOTH ROBERTS AND THE LIST GO'S ON. NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD CONTINUE IN THESE HELL-PITS! OH DON'T FORGET TO WORSHIP THE TREE g-d at christmas! PANGANS,HEATHENS, DEVIL WORSHIPPERS, COME OUT OF BABYLON! BUT YOU WONT BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE YOUR FATHER AKA SATANS DWELLS.

  • how come there are not many comments on Revivial & The Power of God, This is older & true, then all these videos & songs about nothing!!!!!! smh. I am ashamed myself, I did not seek this out except that I am taking a class & prepareing for my test and to write a paper. This is an awesome treasure 4 the hungry young Christian souls 2 learn of there true spiritual heritage & freedoms of the protestant churches. So glad these weren't afraid to tell more treasures 4 all in Living Word of God!!!.

  • I came from a Oneness Pentecostal church where they would pray that God would give you tongues. Every person who "spoke in tongues" there made the exact same sound of babble every time they did so. Never any interpretation. When they spoke in tongues on the day of Pentecost, people of different languages UNDERSTOOD what was being said. I never understood what was being said in those services when they "spoke in tongues".No one did. That sounds more demonic to me

  • The "gift of tongues" means that, for example, when a missionary goes to a country where he doesn't know the language, or there is some kind of language barrier, that the spirit will grant them the ability to communicate and spread God's word. It's not babbling incoherently saying things that sound like demon speak.

  • @RichieEastside 2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. 3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men...13 Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret. 14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.---1st Corinthians 14:2-3, 13-14

  • @RichieEastside 18 I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all; 19 yet in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may teach others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue.--- 1st Cor 14:18-19

You can say that forever, but the fact is, that theory just doesn't hold water with what Paul says in 1st Cor about tongues. In order to make them agree, cessationists have to stretch 1st Cor with unlikely explanations. The simple reading points to Glossalalia

  • @pj10323 Well, that's your interpretation of scripture. I'm not saying that speaking in tongues will put your salvation in any jeopardy or anything, I'm just saying it's unnecessary and makes you look really strange.

Also there's tons of cases where people who leave the church admit that it's all fake anyway. There's even more Christians who say when they went to a revival like this they were pressured into it by the pastor and such to the point that they just faked it to shut him up.

  • @RichieEastside First of all, you really think I would car if I look "strange"? Is that motivation not to? No, not at all. The Romans thought Christians were mighty "strange" and martyred millions of them. Yet they stuck to Christ even when they were put to death. Being different is not motivation not to speak in tongues. Second, I personally speak in tongues, and I can tell you that whatever fakes there may be, some are not fake. When I speak in tongues my tongue and my lips and throat move and

  • @RichieEastside speak in a language, complete with pauses, syllables, and fluid change, as well as sounds I never use in my own language, that I am suddenly able to use and speak. All of this is entirely independent of thought, it just happens fluidly and vocally. Now tell me, how am I "faking" that? The whole world could be mouthing syllables with their mind, and I could never admit I'm "faking it" because I just simply am not. Whatever is going on, it isn't my conscious mind that's causing it.

  • @pj10323 The Romans martyred Christians because they were a religious minority with what was considered a revolutionary message for its time, it had nothing to do with speaking in tongues.

If it isn't your conscious mind that's causing you to speak in tongues then I think you should examine where it's coming from. Sounds like demonic possession if you ask me. When you are "filled with the spirit", you should become instantly convicted of sin and fall flat on your face in shame and repentance.

  • @RichieEastside I don't think you understand what I meant by mentioning martyred Christians. I wasn't implying any connection to speaking in tongues, I simply meant that being "different" or looking "strange" is not a motivation to not speak in tongues, at least not for me.

Second, I have moments when I simply weep because of my sin, Jesus Christ is my Saviour and I believe on Him, I have fallen flat on my face in pure reverence to God before. I Love Jesus Christ. I am a Christian. I am not

  • @RichieEastside possessed, and your automatic assumption, when faced with a real phenomena of some other language of some kind being spoken by someone outside of their conscious mind, of demon possession, is not only silly, but blasphemous. Read 1st Corinthians 14. Speaking in tongues is praying out of your spirit, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, in another language not controlled by your mind, while your mind remains unfruitful. First Corinthians 14:14, straight out of the Bible.

  • @RichieEastside You should also know that the first time I spoke in tongues on May 11th 2010, I beforehand repented, prayed to God in the Jesus' Name, asked Jesus to cleanse me with His blood from every sin and make me white as snow, and to fill me with His Spirit and enable me to speak in tongues. I then spoke in tongues and have done so ever since. There is no possible way, after asking Jesus to fill me with His Spirit and cleanse me of all sin with His blood, that I would get an evil spirit.

  • @pj10323 I'm glad you mentioned 1 Corinthians 14, There's a few passages there it would be good for you to read. How about verse 2? I take that to mean it's something that should be private and kept quiet to avoid looking like an idiot a la verses 6 and 9 and 10-14. It's something that's personal and in the mind, not something that you just blurt out to whip the crowd into a frenzy. How about verse 19? How about 15-17? There's a lot more to it than just "Spirit, fill me...ookie wa wa wa".

  • @RichieEastside I should clarify a couple things lol... First, I believe in the biblical practice of speaking in tongues, *NOT* the abuse of the gift that is seen in churches that have people speaking in tongues with no interpretation. I have indeed read all of chapter 14 many times, and for you to chop it up into individual verses that support your ideology is to ignore Context, which is vital in biblical interpretation. If you take it as a whole, this is Paul's point: I want you all to speak

  • @RichieEastside in tongues, but I want you even more to prophesy in your own language to build up those around you (verse 5) not one or the other, but both. If you speak in tongues with no interpretation in the common language, you edify yourself (verse 4) but not others. It is perfectly fine to speak in tongues in a church service (verses 26-27) as long as there are those who have the gift of interpretation of tongues, so that by interpreting all will be edified. If there is no one gifted in

  • @RichieEastside interpretation of tongues, you are to keep silent in the church and speak to yourself and God (verse 28) (there's the verse that the typical Pentecostal church violates time and time again.) At most two or three people should speak in tongues in a service (verse 27) if all speak in tongues at once people will think you're insane (verse 23.) In summary, speaking in tongues is nothing to be ashamed of. It is a holy gift of God, but it must be used correctly. Basically I agree with

  • @RichieEastside you, there is a Ton more to it than just being filled with the Spirit and speaking in tongues. There are guidelines, and instructions to follow in it. But there are three unbiblical things that are just plain wrong in your ideology... #1, that tongues are shameful and should be kept private (totally against Scripture,) #2 that they're totally personal and should never be in a church service, and #3 the whole exclusion of the gift in it's entirety. Out of sight, out of mind, it's

  • @RichieEastside weird to me, it makes me feel uncomfortable, so I'm just gonna totally ignore it, call it demonic, not seek to understand it better, and prejudicially read into the Scriptures what I want it to say (ie tongues are SHAMEFUL and idiotic and better left alone), rather than what it says as a whole (ie tongues are a beautiful gift of God and there is nothing to be ashamed of when they're used appropriately.) And that, my friend, is exactly what you do.

  • God sent a prophet.....William Branham.

  • 600 mil modern pentecostals are not anything like the original azusa pentecost! Thats nothing to brag about,it is a shame,No spontanious Holyspirit move at all among them, its all about money and Loud music now.

  • We need another out pouring of the Holy Ghost. Let's pray that God will do it again in such way as He did then.

  • I personally recommend a book that covers more info its called 'The Century of the Holy Spirit' by Dr. Vinson Synan

  • @UtubeLeeOh Yes and he also wrote the forward in Azusa Street the roots of modern pentecost, the book was written by Frank Bartleman, in 1925,He actually was used to pray and travail with tears day and nite for 15 mo.strait to bring in the revival,Seymore was used to be a nominal leader Frank the intersesor.

  • and thus the false doctrine of modern "tongues" was born to Christianity. Even tho the occultic catholics, mormons and hindus do the exact same thing.

  • @filoIII The devil always trys to copy the real thing, thats his job.If you read a bible it will tell you that he appears as a angel of light. and that there are tongues of angels and tongues of devils.Go read!

  • @sidebarr7 "tongues of devils" Where is that phrase? The devil does try to copy the real thing. Tongues were known spoken languages in Acts 2 and not unintelligible babbling. Go read!

  • Azusa was a demonic movement that started from William seymour's african spiritism, it has nothing to do with real original middle eastern Christian faith. 600 million "charismaticS" (the numbers are questionable and inflated), DO NOT trace their roots from Azusa, in fact Holy Spirit and tounges and giftings were already present for 2000 years, it was more controlled and focus was put on Jesus and his Character and His love rather than "gaining his power", and showing arrogance with "power".

  • What a great video! I never knew this video was here. Praise Jesus that there are people spreading the history of the Church! Where did you get those pictures from? I myself have searched up the Azusa revival but many of those pictures I have never seen. I also heard that over the past two thousand years the power of pentecost showed up at different times and places around the world. It would be great if you did a recording of that too.

  • @SkyyeEyes This revival started in Wales first,by Evan Roberts,Than Azusa and Germany and ilands and other countries, around the world.Lots of missionarys came from wales and azusa and carried the message around the world.

  • Another way to look at people only attacking Jesus is similar to atheists attacking no God. As Christians we don't go around in conferences and write books about how "Santa Clause" or "The Easter Bunny" doesn't exist. Why does it matter so much to an athiest if there is no God. It shouldn't bother them that others choose to believe differently. Just their attack against God's exsitence proves that Jesus Christ does exist. Otherwise they wouldn't fight it so hard. God Bless!

  • Jesus is Lord him and the father are 1. If you deny Jesus you deny God. No man no the father unless he knows the son. If you deny him he will deny you. Every knee shall bow and every tonuge shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. God is a merciful God, but also a God of wrath. The prophecy of Gods word is being fufilled each and everyday but don't take my word for it. Read king Jame's Holy bible for yourself. God is Luv and perfect in all his works. EVERY WORD OF HIS IS RIGHT, AMEN

  • revjoe008 ... you're a bit correct. That day was a historical day ... and that it keeps happening is what makes it present tense instead of past. If your heart is right and you are truly seeking the truth, Truth, it CAN still be found. but more than 'it,' He can be found IF you are seeking Him, He promised!

  • buenisimo! El Señor fue, es y sera grandioso por siempre!!

  • guys u really need to wake up and watch zeigeist. it is a documentary about religion and christ. if ur open minded it will really challenge ur faith.

  • I watch Zeitgeist and Ring of Power and my faith is still strong. I have had too many confirmations in my life to know that God does exist. To abandon it because I watched something on YouTube to me is weak. Why does everyone attack Jesus Christ and not Allah, Buddah and all other religions?

  • thats the lie that they don't tell you. All these religions cause divisions not unity. Allah, buddah, jesus etc... its all the same. Believing in a creator has nothing to do with religion. see how your mind is condition to call someone weak cause they don't believe in what u believe. thats how they control your mind to be judgemental and hostile if they don't believe in jesus. true faith is to believe in something without the assistance of religion or anything system.

  • i guarantee if you look for Jesus you will find him, just say it, Jesus if you are real let me see you, cause i don't believe. please i dare you, because i didn't use to believe in a lot of stuff that i see happening in christianity, but i wanted to know if they were real, but now i know, oh yeah they are real.

  • @aquin520 you really want to know the truth watch the Total Onslaught series by Prof. Walter Veith. He was an atheist like urself.

  • AMEN bro! lol...I've said this EXACT same thing before!!!!! WHY do they only attack Jesus and not Budda Allah or Muhammed? Because they are FAKE gods... Because demonic powers that be and the devil doesn't CARE about fake gods...he knows there is no power in that trash! the ONLY name with POWER and AUTHORITY that makes him TREMBLE in his boots. is JESUS!!!! ~LOVE, Catrina~

  • @JesusISComingRUReady ...and the people of God said what? AMEN!

  • @JesusISComingRUReady #1 His Name is YAHASHUA #2 Your right he was sent by the MOST HIGH however there are other Prophets, Saints, & Messengers sent by the MOST HIGH!

  • @SpictacularJon Because He said so..And us who follow him will be hated by others. Wasn't it in the scripture?

  • @n8cky John 15

  • @SpictacularJon Thanks alot, I mean u were asking this question "Why does everyone attack Jesus Christ and not Allah, Buddah and all other religions?", so i replied that it is written that 'the world will hate us' in the scripture.

  • thats soo powerful, why they only attack JESUS, because his the CHRIST, The son of the living God, Buddah, allah, and all the others didn't NOT DIE FOR OUR SINS, they didn't pay the ultimate price. and also the little gods doesn't care if we live holy, But Jesus does, people want to live in their sins and don't want to change, But jesus died for sinners, He loves the sinners, not the sin

  • Ann Lee experience a hundred years early with tthe Shakers, Azusza is the very late revival.

  • @SpictacularJon Amen brother, but this goes to show that Jesus Christ is the One True Lord after all. This is exactly how scripture suggests :)

  • @SpictacularJon Because that person you call Jesus real name is Cesare Borgia. Why would Yahweh give his Hebrew son a Latin Name? Christianity is a false religion; in that religion you can be a Homosexual and still be saved? all of these faggot so-called preachers, preach nothing but lies, the churches are nothing more then the play-grounds of satan; for his unholy children.

  • @benjudah71 Actually his name is Yahushua. The bible say no such thing about being gay and saved thats a flat out lie. Leviticus 18:22, Romans: 1:26 just name off the top.

  • @SpictacularJon actually it is Joshua/YAHSHUA, I don't speak hebrew but no matter. and like i said! THE CHURCHES ARE NOTHING MORE BUT THE PLAY GROUND OR NIGHT CLUBS FOR SATANS CHILDREN. BYE! CHILD OF THE DEVIL!

  • @benjudah71 James 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

  • @SpictacularJon WHAT EVER!

  • @benjudah71 Rebuked.

  • We Need That in These Days

  • Amen we do...

  • Yes there are many charismatic movements looking for signs and wonders like the Lakeland Fl. "revival" but you know what??? God will shed to light what is not his, the deceivers and liars will be masked, remember Ananias and Sapphira? that happened in the new testament, they lied to the Holy Spirit. We must ask God for true decernment and not rely on our own understanding. ACTS 2: 1-4 ACTS 19:6 GOD BLESS!!!!

  • That was an infamous day and continues to haunt christianity. Speaking in wierd babels without interpreting. This how the charismatic movement came about. All this crazy signs and wonders deceiving people.

  • I would be careful calling this day a day that haunts Christianity, You are walking on the lines of blespheming the Holy Spirit which is an unforgivable sin. Matthew 12:31 "And so I tell you, every single sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven." I am not saying that Azusa Street was or wasn't an act of God but It would be wise not to speak poorly about fellow Christians for their religious convictions.

  • Especially when the ones that partook claimed to be Filled with the Holy Spirit.

  • Thats History
