while this may have been a good show in it's own right and if I had never read the books, I can't help but keep making comparisons to them. like every five seconds I keep thinking THAT'S not right! they got that wrong! even with trivial things like darken rahls hair color (platinum blonde in the books)
they could have made this show SOOOOO much better by sticking as close as possible to the books. make each season one book, you have time in 20-26 episodes 4 it & youd have eleven seasons.

I can't even watch the show now bc im like thats not how it happened in the book and I think the show would of been better had they stuck closer to the book but it would of been harder bc translating a book to a tv show is hard in its own rights. the only show I know to do it successfully is Game of Thrones
I love how rahl gives weird double look when Gillar gets stabbed by the shakhire, he's like oh no WTF get up! Then there's Richard like god u stupid bitch u can command anyone now command someone to get me out of these chains, then it's annoying when she gives rahl a chance to run and she's like, release the seeker!
I should point out that in WFR Kahlan's blood rage is brought forth out of grief and thirst for vengeance (even if understandable). The blood rage here was created out of extreme concern for Richard and helped save them both.
Just because LotS doesn't follow details of the books does not make it worthless sh!t.
