It did get cleaned up, completely rebuilt and is working like new again.

I have noticed my old Hoover upright, gets really full of dirt, and I have used my Electrolux canister vac to vacuum out the Hoover. It took a lot of work, disassembling the Hoover and cleaning every part. The Hoover is an old Concept One from 1987

I find vacuums in the trash all the time like this, even after cleaning ever part they still smell, and become even more worthless, thats why I just gave up on cleaning and reselling and I just smash or keep now.

yes the air does go through the magnet bit unless its a wet and dry vacumm whitch have bypassa motors so if water gets sucked through it wont damage it

when it sucks the dirt, dose it go thru the wirey magnets that makes things turn and blow it out thru the other end.?
