  • 217 people are Sp's. And proud of it.

  • hmmm..so the three dislikes are from scientologists? :)

  • Many really intelligent people also get conned by Scientology too so it is unfair to say or claim anything different. I know that it is very hard to believe but it is true; mind control and hypnosis etc can do much to a persons mind and greatly affect/effect their normal way of thinking, whether they are intelligent or not.

  • 3 people believe in Scientology

  • I find it extremely hilarious that some of the most "Suppressive People" are ardent Scientologists themselves. It goes to prove that fanatical extremism and ignorance can and do go hand in hand in ANY faith. And if supporters like Mr.Cruise is something this "church" is proud of......Farrahkan apparently supports us Devil Whites getting "civilized" by L Ron. You go Scientology! lol Thank you and your organization for putting doubts in the First Amendment!

  • His left eye is higher than his right eye.

  • Scientology is for fools, I went to their crappy rehab, and they wanted you to stay on after rehab and become Scientology drones. They are all uneducated, thieves, and creeps.

  • @mandaltby Point well taken, but I truly doubt that ALL of them are uneducated lol If they were their core base would look like something out of Star Trek and Trailer Park Boys. But, as financially huge and with a almost secretive conclave of members, these people should not be taken lightly. I am sure many Germans in pre 1932 Germany said, "You know? Those Nazis are all uneducated, thieves, and creeps!" But look what they were able to do to that country and people.

  • I would love to meet this guy.

  • @madra2 I see him every Tuesday, great guy who has time for everybody - but not giving the location away.

  • he needs a haircut

  • I could picture this guy bullbaiting Mark Bunker during the LMT days in Clearwater along with Mary DeMoss.

  • 1 person is a Scientology

  • @rhk01

  • L. Ron Hubbard didn't like this video

  • i wonder if anyone can help, a very good friend of mine is getting caught up in the whole rubbish of the crazy cult. 07514459823, if anybody has any tips. these fucking cults scare the life out of me..

  • @kingv855 well this is the problem with scientology. How do we know that you are not a scientologist posing as someone with a fake problem in order to rope in haters of the cult and track them down. Thats scientology, it spreads paranoia. My apology for being blunt on the subject but your friend will no longer see you as a friend the longer he or she stays with the cult you will be seen only as a wog which is a scientology expression for non members. can u sum up your friend before all this.

  • i wonder what Tom Cruse thinks of all this hah!?!

  • as Im watching this video there is a google ad for dianetics in the upper right corner of the screen, scientology is getting desperate or what?

  • @fuckmania07

You're advocating one set of manacles over another. John 8:7; see you in Hell hypocrite.

  • Got Scientology?

  • I am glad to read this. I visited the local office, and I all these concepts you are speaking of are exactly what was proposed to me. Being "clear." The "audit" process. The "bridge." Being set down and sold the books after taking the 200 question personality profile of the moment in time. Everything you are saying is nearly exact to what I experienced. The sad thing is that it actually made sense, and I was thinking about trying the basic communication class. You may have saved my future. lol

  • @Cellular911 go for it, it's what the world needs, a self obsessed seeker of truth willing to have any old fucking delusion.

You are aware that the universe is 13.7 billion years old and we fly thru space at 64 000 mph and any meaning you are looking for is just your ego pretending you are in control, you're not and there is no need to be. Enjoy the ride for it is your one go, it won't come again, don't waste it on any religion.

  • @luyben12

It's written in a way that feeds the ego of the person who practices the religion. Remember that a lot of entertainers, and wealthy people have HUGE egos, and the idea of them getting what amounts to super-powers is just the thing to feed that feeling of self-importance.

It's tailor made for self-important, gullible, rich, morons.

  • @Numinous123

Also, one major reason why it attracts so many mentally unstable people is because the can blame their mental problems on 'thetans'. The last thing a mentally unstable person usually wants to do it admit they have a problem. If the can blame it on 'thetans' that makes the religion very appealing.

  • Ireland says no to scientology, Adam from Cork

  • Scientology seems to feed on weak people who will grasp onto and believe anything - a few compliments from an attractive person hitches you and they get your money...

  • @deweypug you're missing the point - its not how they lure you in (when i was in Sydney, I was lured in by a free IQ test - does that make me weak!?), its the way they make you feel after the question test, the way they interpret your results. They make you feel very disturbed. I was even told I had suicidal tendencies.

  • @boru1982 No, I do not think I'm missing the point... YOU were lured in by a free IQ test? That is gullible to believe there is nothing in it for the test givers, don't you think? AND they made you feel like you were disturbed? You were vulnerable and weak. So my point stands, Scientology (and for that matter, most of these religions) prey on the weak.

  • @deweypug Now you're changing your emphasis. With some people its best if you actually show it to them because I think you could try to describe it to them umpteen times and they still would miss the point.

  • I don't know much about anything....but I can feel when someone is honest and reaching out....you helped me....by realizing I can learn from people but manipulations are everywhere so my answers probably are within myself. TY!

  • Hubbard was not a good con man, just there are a lot of losers that will cling to anything.

  • @NasherDezno well put. you're definitely right.

  • Scientology is some fucked up shit to get involved in, a true cult that seeks to dominate the minds of its members. It is no wonder they hate Psychiatry.

Their intolerance against those who dare to critize any of their methods, is appalling.

  • The endorphin gland is a highly needed organ for the interaction between two individuals, without the endorphin gland a person can't connect with someones emotions. Now studies have shown that the gland cannot be repaired or shock therapy is the result of jolting electric volts to an unbalanced mind, in order to forcefully mend the broken pieces. Though how is the endorphin gland a broken piece when its said to be an entire gland missing specific functions?

  • Every post paid envelope you can find from scientology & Dianetics. Fill it with a print out of Xenu Leaflet. Than tape it to a brick and send it back as a response. Best way to protest. Tell all your friend to do this. The church of scientology will have a huge mail bill and each letter opened will free one of their members. Once you red Xenu leaflet they kick you out automatically. Tell as many people as you can. Power of the many. A million people send bricks back that should do something.

  • Basically, find your weakness and exploit it to control you, sick. Great vid, thanks for sharing.

  • That is an interesting point he made about Scientology entering into the place where drugs have influence. I believe my brother is a vicitm of this.

  • Loved the book....glad to see these vids.

  • right on, 15 years in here

  • After 16 episodes,I can say John's story unfolds like an engrossing novel! If you've started watching and might feel tempted to can it after just a few parts, stay with it or come back, 'cause it's worth it, as it gets more & more interesting,as it follows John's processing, promotions, doubts, battles with Scientology from within, & escape! You learn lots of what exactly's wrong with Scientology (lots).I found myself identifying with John & rooting for him.A valuable, fascinating cautionary tale!

  • LOl.

  • oh and yours does. i found out a lot from this man , what did i find out from you, except that your ignorant, and a man of few words, or woman, but you do sound like a man, anyway, and you sound young, by using the term dude, young and uneducated, so, is your brain going to start functioning because i am talking to you like this, probably, just dont pepper your answer with profanities, then you will prove to all on here, that your brain, really has no function, and that you are simply a waste.

  • Thank you very, very much. You made my day. In fact, I think it may carry me through for the rest of the week.

  • lol

  • @998987987698765

Based on your comment, I believe you've proven that very point.

  • yep thats how they get you,my ex friend get involved with co$ in the 90s and has been a complete fuck up ever since...

  • great stuff john, found this from a poster on peoples republic of cork and I have just finished your wonderful book.

am in cork also and would love to have you for dinner some time.

  • spot on,what happened in stuttgart, in sydney the same in 1963. thank god i had a caring father who could see thru these fiends way back then. i fought him, but i respected him. thank god for that. it wasnt a church tho, it became a church later, as i recall.

  • yeah i'd be interested to see what tom, and david think of this man, or would we get a lot of gobbeldy gook .

  • lol what are you talking about dear god man you know as well as I do the only way LRH followers can reason is in Gobbeldy Gook :)

  • I've watched all 16 parts -- very highly recommended!

One question: how is John's last name pronounced?

  • Die gnan.

  • Die-nun? That's how I think I heard someone say it, and IIRC it was someone else from Ireland so they would know. :)

  • Dig nan.

  • "Dig nan."

    R U sure? I don't think that's right; I think it's die-nun.

  • Great book! Couldn't put it down!

  • shot mate!

  • Wouldn't you be a bit focused on losing 22 years of your life in a dangerous cult?

  • yea scientology is so dangerous, if you're a complete fucking idiot who believes the shit.

  • Hahahaha

    Poor Scifags.

  • You don't have to be an idiot to "believe this shit." Cults deliberately prey on the weak and the desperate. That's why you always see them turning up at disaster sites like Katrina, hoping to rope in people who have lost everything with the promise Scientology can make it all better. It's not like they plop the Xenu story in your lap during your first audit.

  • Good on you John for exposing the truth about these scary people I will keep an eye out for your book .LONG LIVE ANONYMOUS

  • Apparently RLH could see how people are affected by their social surroundings and conditional acceptance in a group. I got sucked into JWs when i was 4, but they are more like an end times cult. The reason that happened was because my dad was such a compulsive A**hole. They try to be nice people, but you have to believe hierarchal BS to belong. Sometimes you can belong, sometimes you just cannot. Believing BS makes people dull but agreeable and immune to new insight. Happy happy Yay God!

  • I read your book "The Complex" John. And it was great. A must read for every critic of $cientology.

  • The Complex is a great book - a must read!

  • Hope you've made some money off this book John and hope you're happy and enjoying your freedom. Lots of people are proud of you, support you and wish you the best.

  • Reading The Complex now, John. GOOD on you for speaking out, GOOD on you! I was Staff and hubby and I also had to literally ESCAPE in the middle of the night!!

  • love to hear your story, is it on EXMB or OCMB?

  • ESMB

  • @wisenedone God Bless you

  • Hi John,

Now I remember you, your book is just great. Well done for what you done.

    love Suz
