Hearing Aoi singing what is probably my favourite song EVER, is just truly amazing because he has such a beautiful, unique voice and really made this song his own without ruining it!
Gosh, I really appreciate Aoi and whatever... But Sweet God, this is horrible! How could someone do a j-pop/eurobeat songy, with such a cheerful vocal from THAT SORROWFUL Mizerable ?? It's an amazing song and this cover.. really doesn't suits it, sorry.
@Negai5021 Be grateful! Do you understand how hard is it to cover a "GACKT" song?! If Aoi were to make it "SORROWFUL" than what is the difference between the original and the cover?!?!? There will be no difference, it's going to be the same shit except with Aoi singing. Unless you can make a better cover I suggest you keep your ungrateful, selfish comments to yourself and let others enjoy the Cover.
@FallenAngeal Oh come on! Don't get it personally, dude. Isn't there a freedom of speach? For me this isn't a good chioce to do this song in a pop arrangement. And it's just my opinion. Don't get mad because someone say what she/he think.

For Gackt Version, it is a masterpiece of J-Rock
For Aoi's cover, it is a pretty good karaoke song
For the chorus which supposed to be painful and chaotic, I cannot find this in Aoi's voice;( Arrangements are okay, but doesn't go out from the original version, the song is a little bit "broken" because of the rearranged violin lines
It was kind of a misfit. Like how it was a mismatch for SCANDAL to cover "secret base".
I mean, his voice didn't really fit the song. I won't blame him though. He should have covered "Vanilla" instead; it would have suited him better. On a side note, I loved the new, refreshing instrumentals to this rendition of Mizerable. So it's still getting a thumbs up.

I love a lot the original song but this is not bad, although I always prefer the arrangement and the voice of Gackt. That has an another atmosphere, in my opinion, maybe a little darker. However, it's a good job. Sorry for my bad english ^^
