Today, i bought a SX3 version of cubase, downloaded it along with h20, after i rebooted my computer, i came across the product called syncrosoft, and i went to license control center and because it's my very first time using cubase, esp. the earlier version, i'm finding it very hard to get the activation code from anywhere, i see the serial # but i dont see any code, not even from syncrosoft website, so what should i do?

The Cubase SX version has not been sold for 5 years, cubase ahs never been sold in a download only version, there is no activation code unless you are buying for the first time in which case it comes in the pack, there is a dongle that comes with cubase that contains the license if you are buying second hand

I think Steinberg should release a full version of c4 for free/cheap version with restrictions to 8 tracks, one effect per track and 44.1khz and gutted midi editing for anyone trying to get off the ground recording demos, The time spent learning how to use all it's functions almost makes you purchase a full copy when you have the money/see the need for the full version.I admit I used cubase sx 1 2 & 3 by H20 purchased pro tools, and it sucked frankly. So I went with C4 legit, not looking back.

if it wasn't for H2O, i dont think i would have bothered to buy genuine software. i had FL Studio and trained myself on there for about a year. i did a record and as soon i got it sign up i brought the full offical package. if ya make money from it, pay for it. the idea of H2O has worked on me as i've paid into the system and paid for what i use.

I don't think there will be a c4 crack. There really isn't much there worth cracking. SX3 does almost everything. If steinberg comes out with a new audio engine and overhauls the entire app, I would expect someone to take on the newest syncrosoft stuff.

No h2o installer seems to work on Vista 32bit. :( Tried Cubase SX3 (3.0, 3.1) and Nuendo 3, and older versions like 2.0 and 2.2 as well, the installer just hangs. Compatibility mode doesn't work. Has someone been able to get them running in Vista 32bit? Help me out please!

Wow. Ridiculous. I have a licensed copy of cubase 4. I had to reinstall because the update screw everything up. Now I cant use cubase 4 because syncrosoft disabled the license key. Now I have to call tech support to reactivate my product. But they are closed have have crappy business hours. Now I have to wait to call and lost money and my client. I was better off using cracked software back in the day.

before i was using cubase sx3, Hypersonic 2.

All working thanks to H2O Syncro TruEmu.

And now since i'm using real dongle with Cubase4. I can't use Hypersonic 2!

I tried re-installing everything, no luck....

wheever i open Hypersonic 2, and virtual bassit in cubase4, i get "no protection device" error.

looks like it is impossible to run emulated h2o software with "Real"cubase 4..

I enjoyed months of enjoyment from an H20 cracked cubase SX 3. Few bugs, yes - but all in all, recommended.

Then I did something very stupid. I paid for Cubase Studio 4 and installed it, complete with licence control. Now SX 3 won't work (even after uninstalling licence control) and the legit version is so slow, caused by the heavy protection! Nooooo!
