I don't love this cover, but keep in mind this is a pretty hard song to sing with the original melody if you're a girl and want to stay in your chest voice. I've seen female covers of this song where the person made changes to the melody that, in my opinion, sounded better than the changes she made--but you pretty much have to make some changes.

Personally i think you do a wonderful job playing this song. I generally play it on 3rd or 5th fret. I change capos on most of my covers as well, it's not a crime people.

Singing the last line of each verse higher is the best idea idea ever. This song is so hard to sing if you're a girl; I sing it in my head voice but it sounds weird.

I look back at this video from time to time and wonder how people can stand listening to it. I'm completely nasaly and my guitar WAS completely out of tune.

@kLafied Don't let this comment get you down I think your voice is awesome. Just remember to let your breath carry your tone, not the other way around. Relax your throat and let the breath hold the tone up. Also, try putting the capo on 3 and actually sing it a full octave above how he does it. This might help but I'm not sure how your voice would do up there. I absolutely love the way you say 'touched your blouse' your voice is pure beauty there
