No, my american friends, it was our fault. starting in the 50s. and the tone of the korean guy is anti-american but if he can help get rid of a law which hurts good people who respect their neighbors, that is a good thing. Although a big smoker myself i am here and not smoking because of how illegal it is. I also doubt any politician would mention the idea, over here they have alot of other issues to deal with first and they have a saying here. the nail that sticks out gets nailed down.
@PiratedComedy the reason i say what i say is because "drug" is considered by most as a "bad" thing/word... unless of course their doctor/PHarmisist recommends it.... when in reality "drug" is merely a thing/chemical which effects an organism/the human body (in this case)... my point is NOT ALL drugs r bad... HERB IS GOOD (scientifically proven medical efficacy)
@PiratedComedy Actually your mentality is even more outdated than his... and your reading comprehension is probably the most outdated of them all, lol. The other guy said in his post that marijuana is a drug, and you try to bash him yet state the same thing, "it`s a drug". You sound pretty retarded...
The problem of Japan is lack of freedom of speech by surroundings or authorities in real life(Not on the internet )even though it is a democratic country. If I had spoke Marijuana might be not so harmful in the public, some people would avoid contact with me and would gossip this guy was insane especially in conservative rural areas.
It has caused a lot of problems even it is related to the issue of school bullying.
Wow!!! Segoi! Japan talking about herbal medicine again? After what?? 64 years. The Korean guy was right in the prior video, but I dont like the manner in which he speaks.
Yeah he seems to blame the US for "pushing them around" when he himself said it was the UN that passed these laws that effect Korea and Japan today. Although im sure it was heavily US backed. I agree with him about the US being a young and "shallow" about law making. Marijuana has been used by many cultures for thousands of years before the US even existed. Makes the US look "quick to judge" and is often wrong in its law making process.
@dre3k78 It was Henry J. Anslinger, the American Drug Czar that took the case and campaign to the UN. He basically strong armed the entire UN with a campaign of yellow journalism. Get educated, watch the documentary called "Grass: the history of weed"
@Volcomboi15 In Japan they don't care..they smoke it anyway. And it grows wild near Mt. Fuji. But getting caught..that's another story..the penalties are much more harsh that of compared to the United States.
god dam they can talk shit about america on national TV lol..

marijuana is a flower not a "drug"

@oeufgwoieu Stop it, please. Stop touting this outdated hippie mentality.
THC is a psychoactive compound. A drug.
A benign drug, but a drug nonetheless.

It was a simple (2 month old) mistake which...doesn't really warrant a response :P

Man, I don't see Japan legalize marijuana at all. Or at least not within the next 10 years, they are wayyyyy too conservative.
I would not touch or get close to any weed out there, their laws are out of my reality.
7yoyo7 1 year ago 3
well, if they do end up legalising it before the US does, they should force us to legalise to pay us back for forcing them to make it illegal.

Well, as I see , Legalization apart, though I am a big user of it...

Yeah very cool that other countries are now bringing up this topic, it should've never been illegal. This is long overdue!
