He is right-å is not in Finnish letter.Just islands åland belongs to Finland-but there are Swedish(special status of this area).Which means this letter is Swedish-they don't use it at all.BTW:I am not Finn
@TulilaSalome Practice some Swedish words with it. I'm just starting to learn Finnish, but if I'm not mistaken, å is in the Finnish alphabet because of Swedish and other north-germanic loan words.
I-KIRJAIN olen ehtiminen aito hämillään model after oppi finnish. Kanisteri kuka tahansa auttaa we eli erottaa we kudos i-kirjain kanisteri sisu jotta jotta kuulla se vedonlyöjä. Did i spell all this right and does it make since?
I have looked a couple translators online but cannot find a proper translation of english word, song? How would you say and write the word song in Finnish (Suomi)? Thanks!! <3
@cloudberry121 Yea lol! I am having problems with finnish because some words have more than one way to say it in finnish. I dont know what to do. :( Its making me confused.
i dont understand why there isnt any word with Q or that ''rotselein'' A letter (Ä), is it part of the alphabet but never used in any word? if not, then why include it, im not sure i understand how some letters are not used.
@Dm3yn3r meh thats just what you think, no big deal. but it is considdered one of the most beautiful languages;) lol it would be nice to know in contrast to german ahaha
I don't see reason why they should be removed? To be honest, Å is the only useless alphabet in the Finnish language but it's included because all Finns are forced to learn Swedish and all street names + all signs are in Swedish too.
kiitos loved it keep makin tha vids ill be learning finish i no time.

How do you practice å when there are no words with it in Finnish? Practice R. Good words for this, myrsky, tärkeä, törkeä, ärjyä, kärry.

What a weird choice of Finnish words to choose :P Half of them are loan words. It's good practise to go through the letters though, so cheers.

@poo72
Thank you!
Some people have recommended
"uneksinko"
Do you know what´s the difference?

ofelirris 1 year ago
There is not a big difference between "unelmoinko" or "uneksinko".

The Finnish word for song is perkele. Rarely the word laulu is used and laulaja is singer.
Best to stick with perkele. :-D

Ist it the right order how you pronuce Finnish R or do you have just speech defect?
phineasndani 2 years ago
he says r wrong, but he is clearly not a native finn, so it's understandable. :) he says r like they say it in german
in finnish r is pronounced the same way as in hungarian - tongue just behind the upper front teeth
