I have been absolutely addicted to this waltz over the past few weeks. Thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of Carl Michael Ziehrer! Thank you for uploading ALL of your videos for that matter! I previously just listened to Strauss & a few others- I had no idea there was such magnificent waltz composers out there. Cheers!
A lovely wartz. This composer Zhierer y one of the most betters composers o light music: Johan Strussu II, with my favorite Josef Strauss, the better, Like Johann, and Zhierer are like Beethoben to the music clasic, Josef is like Mendelson.
Oh Boy! Tonight's discovery of your treasury of easy-access Viennese music is a memorable highlight I won't forget! I have been raised on this music which will never stop flowing in my blood! I especially like these rare pieces I've never heard before! How about Josef Strauss' "Music of the Spheres" ("Spharenklange")--by far my most favorite?
hi stepdoughott. glad to know you like the music! you find several files of "sphaerenklaenge" here at youtube. i will upload some josef strauss music in the near future.
Alright, thank you for your reply. By the way, I am always so curious about whistling. people told me that it's easy to produce different pitches during whistling but I just don't understand because I don't know how to do it.
There is so whistle sound, how could the orchestra do it? Are they really find someone to whistle or there is really one instrument which could produce such sound?
Waldteuful, I have almost an entire completion of all the recordings the Wiener Philharmoniker have ever released on Deutsche Grammophon, EMI, and Decca. Please don't heistate to ask me if you want a certain piece!

I wish somebody would issue in CD all of Paul Lincke's music, and not just the famous stuff. He wrote quite a bit of really pleasant light music.

In the whistling part, only some instruments are playing. The others are whistling.
