Just what I was looking for It was my first thought after buying this for my son for Christmas. I tested it and it's a solid fun weapon. But burns those 88's like crazy! Thanks for the vid! My kid is gonna love it.
If you don't like lug that remote line and tank around try this. Remove the quick attach unit from the tank adapter and screw the c02 tank right into the adapter. Works great, and you have the line in the way or the tank on your hip.
I can get Teflon tape from auto store but this silicone tubing you speak of I cannot. You helped me months ago with this bulk adaptor mod, thanks. I did buy co2 repair stuff with silicone o rings and t tape. I broke apart a co2 bb pistol am found a seal that is just the right diameter of your tubing but it is quarter inch and not enough. The 2 oranges and Teflon tape seal my gun for about 4 months at a time. It usually eventually leaks and I have to re thread tape.
@1275allen Yes you can, but I prefer the remote line to control the pressure of the CO2 going into the gun. But you can. Instead of using the remote line just connect the tank directly to the adapter.
finally i fixed my ebos....I cant find a silicone gasket... I went back to home depot and I tried to use the danco brand 00 flat washer (small rubber washer size 1/2" ) 1 package has 10 small flat washer I use two and I glue to 88 g bb adapter.... I pass by in 99 cents I I got a set of O - RING I use this it works perfect.....
i have almost averything...just need the adapter that you show at 3:28 i bought the remote line at airgundepot..com and that didnt came with the line... do you know where can i get it??
i got my ebos, Co2 tank , 88g adapter remote line on its way.... my problem is this silicone I went to Home Depot and Lowes they dont have any.... where can i buy this silicone?
@ebos2011 The silicone tube can be purchase at an automotive store, more at a performance automotive store. It usually comes in sets of different sizes, and colors.
I need the piece of silicone tubing .25 thick, .50 outside dia. to finish converting my Umarex EBOS for use with re-fillible C02 tanks. I have checed within 50 miles, and the internet. NO LUCK! If anyone can help me, PLEASE contact me.
RE:silicone tubing.cannot find one here in our place.also, is the 0.5 youre referring to is the internal diameter?im looking at ebay, can you help me pick the right one?... or can you just cut me a few and i'll just pay you? thanks a lot my friend- from a P-noy in tx
@fdelapena001 - are you willing to send me a vinyl cut as well... we've been looking on and off for about a year and my son is dying to finish this upgrade.. thanks for the perfect video instructions - he was able to do it all by himself! I will pay you shipping + tubing + time :) thx
I can't find silicone tubing in my area. Will vinyl work? Also does inside dia. matter. Thanks for the help. Your video is great, very clear. But, what did you use tomake the hole?
@okcityclg5 Vinyl, never tested vinyl on CO2 yet, but you can try. You should be able to find one at a car parts store. They usually come in several sizes in one pack.
@edmantheman Sporting good stores that sell guns or gun parts. Also online. The side railing I purchase had no holes in it, and so I had to measure an drill them. The drill bit I used was titanium.
Hey now I'm wondering how you got that side rail on. Did you just remove fake side rail or drill holes to mount the rail. Also what scope is that? I bought scope and it did not fit so I got riser mount but that wouldnt bore sight correctly.
@DJsnow187 Possibly. A 600 fps pellet/bb guns are usually used for rats. The fps is alot higher with the CO2 tank. But I am not sure, I usually get rid of household pest in a less messy way.
Yes I used it enough to empty a 20 and a 24 oz tank :) enough to really respect the fun factor of this. Well the spring came loose from the piece that pushes the bb's. Somehow it managed to work it's way up the little bb hole in the hopper. I pulled it out a kinda stretched it so it couldnt go back in properly : /
@acraze21 Yeah I did the same with my first EBOS, so I went ahead and bought another one. The first one I have is still here, but I used it mostly for parts, and testing. Just like the Remote Line mod. I had tested it first on my first EBOS before trying it out on my second one.
I finally got mine working but the darn side spring came loose and out the top hopper. I sent it to umarex USA. What i used was a co2 tank blow out valve kit. Has plenty of silicone o rings ( that I cut and glued to fit just right) and it came with that Teflon tape. I put alot around the threads, I didn't skimp. Also a single o ring in the other side of the adapter for the remote line. There were no leaks. Man I'm really jonsin for the ebos haha
@UnckelJohn You can. They sell silicone spray at any hardware store that can seal the threads. The problem is the adapter is made for paintball guns, the well in the EBOS is deeper but the 88 gram has a long thread to reach to the white sealant. The silicone tube just acts as an extended sealant. If you can find one to seal the well without being prone to CO2 temperatures you can use that as well.
Okay great I'm in the process of getting everything. O ordered remote lone with quick release, 99 gram adapter and 2 20oz adapters. Have not got the .5 silicone tubing or the shower head gasket yet but when I do and my friends see how much fun it is, they will have a new hobby
@acraze21 Yeah CO2 tanks, and I go to a local paintball store, or sporting good store the tanks refilled for $1.00 for a whole 12 oz or 20 oz tank.
It also last longer with a remote line, or have the tank attached to the back.
I noticed it raised the fps also, because previously with the 88 gram the bb pellets were not able to penetrat through certain tin cans, but now it is able to go through it after the upgrade. It also has a slight kickback to it now as well (not blowback).
Freakin great video btw. Hey I also had a question. I have the umarex cx4 storm that takes the 88 grams, I'm wondering if just these mentioned in the video would hook up to it? I'm not sure if the thread count is different between the cx4 and the ebos making the silicone length to be cut different. I'm also planning on getting a scuba tank and filling station to save a buttload of cash hopefully.
@acraze21 The thread on an 88 gram should be the same. But you are right, the silicone tube may need to be cut different. At the same time if the adapter fits right it should not need any silicone gasket.
Nice work, cool looking gun! Do you know if there are any mod chips available of for teh EBOS to get a higher rate of fire and/or full auto. (Kind of like the Drozd mod chips). In my opinion the only thing the EBOS is lacking now is a faster rate of fire!
hey i have already ordered my ebos, and my adapter. when i get it i would like to jus forget about the stock and jus screw in my 20oz tank and use that. i have already planed to buy the red silicone thingy. but is it necessary that i get the shower head gasket?

@okcityclg5 Yeah did that already, it works well too. I just like the remote line to be able to manage the pressure.
fdelapena001 3 months ago
@okcityclg5
Ya thinking of that too. The thing does not have to be shouldered to get a good sight on target.

I've used Teflon tape to seal the adapter threads, alot of pressure in there.

@krazedgunner Teflon should work too. Where did you get that from?

Hi again, hey you did this because
The 15 bucks for 10 minutes of fun the 2 88 gram tanks are a waste of money. So
What do you do now with yore
Co2 tanks? refill via a bigger co2/ scuba tank or do you just goto local company and refill a few 20oz tanks?
